Sorry for two pics but anyway can I chop that end off n wire to the lamp I cant see why not but id rather check first lol

Risky business.. Sure it can be done but I wouldn’t do it !

if your'e confident in your wiring ability its not a problem. basically hard wiring it. but i would look for an adaptor.pain in the ass if you ever have to move or unplug it .

Im confident enough just like a plug really when ya think about it thqnx @patchgrower

Im happy... went to start a grow 4 weeks ago n ballast packed in so had to use cfl and led 130 watt in total now theyre praying to 600 watter lol just in time for flower thanx again mate

yeah had the same happen 2 grows ago ,1000 watt ballast just died middle of flower.
thank god i had a 315 to use until i could get another ballast.
this run i'm trying 6- 315 lec to replace the hps hopefully a big improvement . we'll see.

Hope ya share the info on those lights mate ...my wife just asked the big question of how much leccy does it use I said I dont know lol wich made me think are autos worth the energy of hps idk so thats something to figure out at harvest if they worth doing again cos as all of us are growing to save as much £££ as we can or $$$

i'll be posting how things go .so far so good, plants have been under 1 light and seem to like it .
it's only been 3 days so not expecting much yet.
