I have a dream queen plant about 5 a half feet tall that just looks like its dying and drooped all over ,,the first day it happened I woke up and it was drooped to death, so I waterd it and it came back to life in the next few hours ,, so Im figuring everything is fine , but I wake up the next morning and its the same thing , so I water but it don't come back ,, it stayed droopy all day, I figured its going to die ,, its only 80 to 90 degrees now in the day time here In central cal,, I go outside later that night at like 3 in the morning and the plant is all perked up again,, im like alright cool ,, I go to bed and wake up and its down again ,, its been like this for the last 3 or 4 nights ,,, its been a nightmare,, I need to mention ive had 12 plants die in my garden already this year ,, they died one at a time ,, and mostly one branch at a time ,, One branch would look like it was droopy and in need of water then it would dry up and die as another branch would do the same until the whole plant died a Nightmare... I have 3 good plants left in the garden 1 blue dream and 2 GDP ,, 1 GDP looks like the others that have died but still hasn't had a branch get sick to start the cycle of doom ,,, the crazy thing is that the dream queen that's drooping now in the day is really healthy looking as compared to the ones who have whithered away and died ,,, you might say gopher ,,but ive dug the crap out of a few holes and there are no gophers

Are you conditioning that soil at all? That soil looks very compact and hard. By the sounds of it they aren’t getting enough water either. Maybe water them in the early morning.

go out about 2ft from base and stick shovel in and bust it a little give it air to roots around the plant, dont turn the soil just stick it the depth of shovel and just pull back a little to open for air,i wouldnt throw that de on the leaves either, stopping there purpose if you dig, just my opinion, but by opening for air and even feeding you be should be good, all that laying on ground is just opening invitation for critters ,imo if it dont fix should see some difrence in a couple days

You have described heat stress droop if your issue isn't some root issues. They wilt during full sun and perk up at night. Get your self some garden shade screen and shield them during the hottest hours of the day. I grow in the AZ region and shielding them from the direct sun during the hottest part of day will keep them happier. It minimizes the heat stress. And thats a good thing cause when the plant is stressed it isn't packing on the growth it would be other wise. Use sunshades your plants will love you for it.

Once you get into fall and cooler days with less severe UV rays you can stop using it to let your buds fatten up and ripen in the direct sun. Oh I had to come back and edit/add: As you remove the shading be sure to do it slowly like over a week. Sort of like hardening with new starts coming from inside to out. Give them a chance to acclimate...…….

I would also get some decent mulch and cover the earth around your plants this will shield and keep the ground cooler and will help control evaporation from the soil.

And for your next runs you need to do some work to condition and build your self a better soil base. Looks too compacted and lots of fines almost looks like what I deal with here and its called caliche soil is very clay like and compacts bad with very little aeration for the root zone.

I agree with @jumpincactus. I had to do something similar during my outdoor grow. I got lucky and picked up the shade cloth at a discount since the garden center was going out of business. The cloth made a big difference during the hottest part of summer.

I watered with some organic tea I made in may and june ,, im just stumped as to why they would die one branch and plant at a time,, I have two really healthy plants in the garden still one blue dream that was planted on 4/20 and a gdp that was planted in last week of may,,, I have another gdp that was planted on 4/20 ,,, its pretty big but got a yellow tint to the leaves and is way behind in flowering compared to the one that was planted in late may,, this dream queen showed no signs that the other plants showed,, like dying one branch at a time ,,, instead it was healthy as can be ,then one morning just a total droop,, crazy thing is 5 days later I can go out there at 3 in the morning and the dam thing is standing up,, the tea had worm castings fish poop bat guano blood meal and mollasses,, in a 30 gallon tote with 4 air bubblers and sat for 24 hours
