My daughter was diagnosed with diabetes Dec. 2017 and since then she's had many problems associated with her diease. Such as neuropathy, sleeping issues, major anxiety when it's comes to shots and ivs. Extreme mood swings because her sugars are constant roller coaster! (Up and down) and occasionally will have a seziure when her sugars is low. 3 questions- 1. She gets her blood drawn every 3 months will the the show up in her system? 2. Do I need to inform her endocrinologist we are thinking of experimenting with CBD? 3. Is it against the law for a parent to give there child CBD oil? Shes 4 years old and she already thinks she's not like "regular" kids. I just want to make her comfortable and feel like she's normal again.
Thanks

Hi, I sympathize with your problem as I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes just 5 months ago. I too have the
neuropathy & sleep issues and blood sugar levels out of whack & the stress that it puts on the rest of my family. As far as the CBD showing up in her blood work, I would think that it would show up if they were looking for it. It would be a good idea to run it by her doctor, that is what I am going to do, only I am not asking his permission, I am telling him I am going to try CBD oil for the various pains I have from this disease. HMMMM legal stuff, I am no lawyer or cop so I am not sure how that would play out. Talking to your doctor would definitely be the best approach for sure. Now, in my opinion, I would say it is my child & I would do what ever I thought necessary to help my child the best way I could. My youngest son has had some anxiety issues & I am thinking of giving it to him also, however he is 19 not 4, so that is a different can of worms right there.

Well that's all I got for now, Good Luck, please keep us posted on her progress & let us know how the talk with the doctor goes & I will do the same. I am curious what he/she has to say about it. . .

Take care. . .

Don.
