want to learn fimmimg tecnique

theres alot of threads already on here about this, i alway say put your hands together like you were praying, then pretend you cut off your fingers right at the knuckles, then go look at the very top growth of your plants, it looks exactly like praying hands

yeah i tried searching fimming under all of the grow forums and all i get is a bunch member questioning other members; did u lst or fim or top blah blah blah but nothing really explaining the process. I can sort of vision it but would still like to see. thanx for the reply

do you fim during veg or once in flower?

I was successful FIMing the a day or two before going into flower. Let me see if I can find a pic.

thanx red dog for info. all my plant look like the last photo with 2 main stalks on top. i have never had more than 2 thats why i thought i was doing something wrong.

yes you can fim lower nodes. If you do it early in veg, you will be amazed. I've been trying to be my buddy who tops everything to FIM, so he did half of this blue dreams, 1 kola vs 7 kolas was the outcome.

nice avatar cute dog. on the topic though the seven colas you got did they come close to the size of the one big one or did you get seven big ones or seven smaller ones that were close to or a little bit more thatn the wieght of the single cola??

when i top/fim my girls the two main stems produce the biggest colas , but one was a little bigger than the other. like only 2" though

what about total wieght, did the seven colas come close to wieght as the single cola non-FIM'ed plants?? i ask casue i run a 10 plant sog type of setup and pruning for one cola that is huge,is my way but it seems when i run the same strain topped or fim it just gives me littler ones that about equal the wieght that the single colas were. i sound in my mind unclear hope you get what im saying?

Thanks to Redog the "fim" process is clear enough... benefits seem questionable though or at any rate... unverified by anything posted here so far.
