New to the site. Been growing for 4 years now, have a small current build for fun.

1.75 lbs for 630 watts. (2) 315 cmh on (2)2x4 trays. It's a mini set up. Humidity at 65% temp. Highest 72 as of now and coldest is 62 in the dark.

1.24 grams per watt

Now my veg is only 14 days for 26 plants. Strain cherry pie and a few wedding cakes.
Flush once a week. Advanced nutrients bloom. Ready grow soiless mix 2 gallon plastic bag pots, on a reusable flood and drain table.

Let's keep this thread alive! I like the posts and results. Just a little more detail helps.

Super nice job!

Do you need supplemental heat down there? I don’t think I could get my basement above the 60’s with that wattage.

But your pic is quite compelling. I need new lighting this year.
Now that cold weather is here I've actually had to hang the Gavita back up to keep my temps in the mid 70's. Slight nutrient modification to get the plants to perform under the LED's at those temps.
There is 2 LED's running in that room.

0.4 gpw using cfl and soil. You lot are making me jealous talking about getting over a G per watt
My current grow is one plant with a flat top under 12 23w cfls evenly spaced out and fitted through roughly a 16" sqaure reflective board, so it's kinda like one big flat 270w light, with a flat canopy directly underneath.
Without turning into a weed scientist I think this grow will for me show the maximum amount of bud that i can be harvesting through training and using cfls in my set up, realistically without having 20+ bulbs .
I'm under no illusion though, I know hps smashes the fuck out of cfl when it comes to yield and the speed and rate of growth. I'm gonna be using a 600w hps next and am curious as to exactly how big a difference it'll make, maybe then I can start working towards that G per W

I veg with cfl/legs right now, but I did a for fun box grow with a few buddies under CFL. Out of everyone (3) of us. I did the best with botanicare, readygro aeration mix. I pulled 6 plants, 7 day veg, 10 oz. Everyone else did soil and perlite mix and only pulled 6-8 oz in a storage rubberwaee box.

Worth a try to use different medium for CFL. I feel soil is too thick for thr roots to grow and get oxygen under CFL. Coco coir is another I use too. Still very easy to use. Doesn't dry as fast Rockwool but doesn't stay as moist for too long than soil and yet forgiving.

Nice! Have you looked into cmh 315 bulbs? I used to do hps before, but I feel like cmh has been more effective overall, as far as cost, yield results gram per watt, looks, and runs alot less cooler.

So i relly think this is very strain dependant subject, i grow gg4 under 3 1ks, and the same amount of sfv, unless your going pgr crazy your ogees will always yeild significantly less. Ive pulled 3 a light, with ogees right next to the ggs that pulled 2 a light. So its strain dependant imo.

Either way i pulled 31 lbs off of this room fully whole plant dried and fully trimmed. Than we weight out to like 31 lbs and 370 grams or so.
12k facility half og half gg4.

You might not need to change much with your style of growing and water, I'm running coir with RO water.

I noticed my soil nutes not sufficient almost a week sooner with the 315 cmh phillips 3100k bulb in the little 3x3 tent. And I had to ramp up the fertilizer ppm for flower. I understand it is the full spectrum effect. The led lamp would likely do that too.

I got to take notice when you show twice the efficiency and 1/3 more yield brother. I am really impressed. Your weed looks fantastic too. So silver in the photo. I know that look. :-)

Details on the lights? You build them?
