i have ww week 6 flowering. I have them in 5 gallon buckets with holes in bottom an sides. I was so excited to get things going and I researched alot. But forget to put rocks in the bottom. And they are Scrog. Looking good. Not as big as expected. But still plenty time to grow. Also have sulfur or nitrogen problem. Feeding fox farm plant food, grow big and tiger bloom also have flowers kiss and beastie and cha chig. But using tap water. And haven't checked ph. Mix accordingly to specific recomendations. Could I safely cut the bottom off the bucket and fix a bed of rocks underneath or just leave alone. And what about feeding? Starting to get crystals now. Just keep on until colors changes from clear to slightly Amber?and then just flush? Also should I buy a gallon jugs if distilled water?

You don’t need rocks at the bottom. Doing so at this point will induce stress. You can do it next time but for now don’t worry about it.

You’ll want to flush (well it’s not really a flush butnjust feed them plain water) about two weeks before you harvest. So the trichomes will be a mixture of clear and cloudy. It depends on what you want to end up with but if you wait until they are amber then you’ve waited too long.

I have been feeding then water water feed water water flushing with sledgehammer. Yeah that's what I kinda thought about the rocks. Yeah thanks. How can I check to see if it's sulfur or nitrogen problem?

The ph is a big factor when growing weed your plant won’t take up certain nutrients when you are above or below the ideal ph range. This creates an abundance of nutrients that your plant can’t take up so u can feed it all you want but for nothing. It’s hard to tell deficiencies because it could just be a ph issue. Need to dial in your ph then focus on deficiencies

Some close up pics of them would help. Especially in areas you think it’s showing the worst. Let us know if it’s the top, middle or bottom of the plant when labeling the pics.

Check your ph by doing a slurry test. If you have a ph meter you can mix some soil from the root zone with distilled or RO water in a 2:1 ratio of water to soil. Mix it up really good for several minutes then let it sit for about 15 minutes and stir it up again. Wait another 15 minutes then test the solution with your ph meter. That should give you the soils ph.
