Mold definitely, but looks to be a mix of both. Mycorrhizae will always be white. Mold will be any other color: grey, green, black, Orange, red.

Looks like you have mycorrhizae in there, but the mold has set in as well. No bueno.

Looks like maybe you just let t go too long. What was the process you were using for the myco?

Thank you guys.
I mixed some soil with Oatmeal and Seelan (date of palm tree, this is for sugar) and some Mycorrhizae.
added some rain water and waited for 2 weeks.

what did I do wrong?

Sugar isn’t “needed” necessarily. Also, when I’ve done this, about 3-5 days was just right.

Yeah. When I mixed ground oatmeal with compost, and made it a little wet, I then let it sit for a few days. After 3-5 days, I could see the mycorrhizae all over the top of it. After 7 days, it started to smell like a fart, so I knew more bacteria/molds were starting to develop.

I’m just saying that you can probably do what you need to do in about 5 days, which gives the molds/bacteria less time to take hold.
