Theyre enjoyin the new pots and gettin bigger every day. They seem to have a slight deficiency and the weird small one looks like its gettin fed a lil too much with a few slightly curled leaves. Lower leaves on some are gettin a few spots and some yellow on the lower leaves. At first i thought i had just gotten some nutes on the lower leaves when watering but its faintly showing on some of the higher leaves.

Calibrated my pH pen which wasnt off by much and made sure everything was on point. pH'd to about 6.5 ish which doesnt take much after the nutes. (water comes out at 7-7.2 after nutes its about 6.7-6.8) So only takes a few drops of ph up/down to adjust if necessary. I usually start a little lower towards 6.0-6.2 and slowly bring it up to 6.5 during flower to make sure i can get the most available nutes.

Gonna do a flush with SLF-100 after this feeding. Not really a flush just gonna let them get real dry then hit em with a solid watering with the SLF-100.

Any suggestions on what may be wrong are always welcome.

I currently use Blue Planet Nutrients "organic" line. Only thing i add besides that is terpinator but i dont do that til mid-late veg. Was thinking the cal-mag could be messin with it. I got so used to the GG#4 being hungry 24/7 that i got used to puttin 2.5-5 ml/gal of cal mag in every batch of nutes.

Here they are slowly gettin bigger. Besides the 2 weird ones theres only the one in the back thats a little taller than the rest.

Im planning on using these drip rings in flower.

I want to test them out before i upgrade the room a good amount. Once we double up flower (possibly over double) its really gonna be a pain to water that many plants by hand. My other option was to just connect a hose and watering wand to a water pump and still do it by hand but not have to go a plant at a time with a watering can. I like these ones over others ive seen because they have larger drip holes in them to hopefully minimize clogging which is always a concern with drip irrigation.

I dont think id go with an automated/timer to water them. More so just have a large tote or drum filled with water/nutes that ive made and flip the pump on when i need to feed. Using promix its usually every other day max even in peak veg/flower. I dont trust water pumps or timers enough to rely on them just yet either.

Maybe if i get into messing with arduinos where i can get a notification that they got watered since i work 40-50 hours a week and dont check on them every day. Also seen some moisture sensors that are made for the arduino. Wouldnt use them to measure how much water they were getting more so just that theyre getting water at all. So maybe if i can get that hooked up and knew what times theyre supposed to be watered i could check that the meter is reading or set it up to send me a notification. Because even if i set up an arduino to activate the pump at a given time just because it flips the relay doesnt mean its actually running. Theres probably a sensor you can hook up to tell if the pump is getting power but a moisture meter might work better in case of any clogs or other issues. Best case would be to have everything metered through the arduino so i could see any information i want. I have a few friends who are good with coding so i may have to hit them up. ive seen people make auto pH adjustment systems with arduinos so i feel what i want is fairly basic compared to that.

If i do ill definitely start a thread. Might just do it to see if anyone in the community could help out.

I used those drip for my outdoor grow but indoor it got to be to much of a hassle. From connecting them all to some plants not getting the same amount of pressure to water so some plants weren’t getting fed the same. One might seem like it’s gonna work but I would just hold off if anything I could sell you call of my drips if you want to try it. It was just easier for me to hand water.

What size pump did you have? i know an issue with those pumps is that they dont have much overhead so if you had it in the bottom of a 55 gallon plastic drum that could have caused it to struggle? i was planning to get a pump much larger than needed so i wouldnt run into that. Id probably use large totes to limit the overhead.

Thanks for the info though! How many do you have?? im lookin for 12-25. Also which brand were they? ive read that the tan ones that another company made had real small holes that would clog easily especially with "organic" nutes.

My idea (for 25 plants) was to have the pump split at a T then one side goes down the front one the back and then horizontal lines across connecting to both of the lines that were split. That way they kinda filled from the outside in to minimize that.

Right now even watering 10 by hand in the tent is a hassle.

I can check how many I have but they are the ones pictured. I was only using like a 24 gallon bucket pretty small and I tried settin up all different kinds of ways to try to help the flow. The pump I forget what I was using but it was the same one for my outdoor. Check my YouTube channel yellowpenguins used them for my outdoor grow. But I bought thinking it would be easier for my indoor but after mixing all my nutes it was easier and faster to just grab a gallon bucket and hand wAter. But give it a shot I can check how many I have save you a lot of money buying new to try it out

Thing about the halos is if they arent level they end up feeding weird. I used them for a while. too much of a hassle. Ended up ditching them for strait 1/4 line.

These are my bubba cookies at day 65. I'm just waiting for trichomes to Amber a little more and I'm chopping.

The only THC testing I will be doing is when I smoke it LOL
I'll post some photos when it's dried and cured and give a smoke report.
This is a photo of my geisel cookies from Divine Genetics. I've run this for awhile now. I'm hoping one of the Bubba cookies will be a keeper.

I had PH issues from the beginning with a poor choice of soil, Moved my grow at week three of flower and changed water source. I still managed to pull off a decent harvest. I have clones and will work on dialing in my grow for my summer run.

I got my pH figured out. Also cut out the calmag for a little. Might have been a little too much iron. Theyre back to fully green minus a couple little lower leaves.
Should be taking clones this week! Give em a week or two to recover then theyll be headin to flower once the tent is free.

Quick question for those who have grown the Bubba Cookies. How much do they stretch on average?? Theyve taken off over the last week or two and using the gavitas doesnt give me much flex on headroom.

GG#4 is comin down any day now and once theyre done i can move the BC in.
I usually take off the fan leaves and hang the whole plants in the flower tent for a week or so then trim it up and cure.

My bubba cookies had two basic phenotypes. One was a short stocky Bubba bush and the other was a tall and stretchy cookies phenotype. You'll probably want to scrog the stretchy one.

Last run of GG#4 for a while. Take off most fan leaves then hang em for 7-10 days depending on the season. Have em in the tent, lower circulation fans off, with the main 6" fan/filter set to 15 minutes on every hour or 2. Have that fan on a speed controller so if they start to dry too quick (usually during winter) then i can dial back the fan speed.
