Neem spray emulsified mix question

I used neem spray in mist bottle on some leafs yesterday and it put a shiny coat on them that won't come off.im in the first week of flowering will this affect the plant leafs from forming the beautiful crystals we all adore?.and the flowers are little but will it affect those in any way as well if I used it on them at this point.i did it because of a slight sight of powdery mildew on some leafs.not many but know that that can become a problem so that's why I did what I did.any thoughts???

Years ago if I had to spray my plant because of mites all I kept was bud

Oil will break down in time. You can also wash with soapy warm water to clean the oil off if the need arises. Too much oil could clog the stomas and reduce transpiration. The leafs will wither and die if that happens. If this occurs soapy warm water is an option. Prepared with gentle dish soap. Then rinsed off with clean warm water.

Never used neem oil but i have used essential oils and experimented a bit. Meaning i went thru the situation i described above. If there were an extensive amount of oil in there, the pistils will turn brown, the plant will burn. As for taste i think all the oil will breakdown until harvest but soapy warm water is your friend at this stage.

I'd do some queries on what/how to deal with PM, though preventing it is much easier than dealing with it. That said, any pic's posted taken with "bluple" lights results in no one being able to accurately decipher what the present condition is of anything. Please use regular lighting at lights out for future posts. Thanks, your responses will be much more informed as a result...

I've been using Neem for a long time. From what you have said, I wouldn't worry about it. Shiny leaves are a result of a good thorough coating. I try not to mix my neem too strong, as it can and will burn up your leaves if too strong. This will happen within 24 hours and will almost look like nitrogen burn with crispy brown edges and tips of leaves.

As long as that's not happening, you should be fine. The neem will only (for the most part) be on the leaves you sprayed it on. The new growth/buds will be fine. I would not spray more neem during flower if I were you. If PM is an issue, try a light mix of potassium silicate foliar spray, and do this right away, before buds get too big. I personally stop all foliar spraying after week 3. Any foliar applications after that will effect your end product if you use anything other than plain water.

Ok much thanks.yeah I haven't seen any more pm lately.guess it worked.there looking good no burn marks.
