I just want you to know I'm not trying to argue. I'm kind of showing why it's so confusing for many. Because the Wikipedia and all the documented evidence can be a bit contradicting at times. And I don't know about other plants wether it would be the same but I also i see calling a regular plant with leafets with only 3 leaves on them. I get calling them trifoliates But they would still be regular two branch cannabis plants. Where as a Whorled Phyllotaxy can be many different mutations. Could be One set. Three sets. Four sets. 8sets. And yes they would all be Whorled plants. But each would have a name to refer what kind of Whorled plant. According to the research. Some being the same things we've all read. Technically Mine would be referred to as a Whorled trifoliate plant But basically I understand all the technical terms and stuff. But if you tell most cannabis growers I have a trifoliate. They know what your talking about But technically I guess it's not a trifoliate as far as botanical terms go. It's a Whirled plant with trifoliate growth. But everyone can go hound KEEF of on marijuana passion. He's suppose to be this huge man of knowledge about Triploids and Trifoliates and I kept asking detailed questions and he'd always say that I asked the same question Well for one maybe the simple answer that my plant was a trifoliate. Didn't quite make sense. Due to these facts we are discussing here now. He is what had me confused more until I figured out that my plant was a Whorled Plant that they refer to as trifoliate. Which is wrong in botanical terms. As you said. SATIVIED. I just wanted you to know I wasn't saying mine has trifoliate leaves. Wanted to be clear that I was talking about the entire plant having trilateral Phyllotaxy Not trifoliate. I think I may have confused you even more cause I am not good with the technical terms Even tho I know it's Whorled EVERYTIME I call it what it is. Someone joins in and says. No. It's trifoliate. So I've given up. They can call it what they want. Lol. Sometimes I type Triploid by accident cus atleast then they know exactly what the plant looks like. Lol. Someone else just showed me an article saying that a plant like mine is actually not either of those that some studies show that it is a natural mutation in the chromosomes that occurs as the seed cracked and seedling grows then it's normal chromosomes somehow mutate and end up with a "Natural Triploid". I'm trying to find it again. It mention that the study started because a grower that had researched it had a plant start as a diploid as seedling. Then after a few nodes it formed 3 branches. Then when I was ready to bloom he noticed it started growing 4 of them He tried letting it go to see what would happen but it flowered and he didn't want to effect it's grow so he finished it and started studying it more. I would love to be able to get natural Triploids. Naturally mutated chromosomes. Didn't make sense to me. It was an interesting article tho I want to start making Tetraploids and breeding Triploids but my space is small so I don't think I could easily
