Pollen collection time

What is the usual time frame for pollen collection?

He’s in with girls that are just starting week 7 and should be done in about 1 more week. I’m going to bag and seal him at the stem just wondering if I should be doing that right away now or if I still have lots of time. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.

still have a way to go,if they are in with your girls,put some foil or something smooth on the top of your pot and around the drip line of the canopy is,keep the fans off and let him just drop the pollen on the foil or trash bag,as it falls collect it,get a little flour just a tad,and put the pollen in with it,use a glass container,ideal is to not let the jar get wet,the flour helps to keep the pollen from just becoming a big wad of mess,some put it in the frezzer some fridge,up to you,just dont let condensation get in the container,i prefer putting the males in with the girls,and seal off tent,reach threw the side and with a small fan on,i beat the crap out of the male,just shake it and let the pollen fly,i do this for 2 days,rinse the soil and plants real good,im talking about drenching the plant,not the soil,drench it and then let it dry under a ceiling fan,once the plants leaves have dried,do again,same gig,once they dried back to the flower room,the wet soil top ,just scratch in the top of it,once pollen gets wet it job is over if you dig,hope this helps

Awesome thanks. I should have been clearer. Going to pollinate his sisters that are currently still in veg. Don’t want to pollinate the ones he’s in currently flowering with.

I wanted him to get a head start so that when his sisters do go into flower, I have his pollen ready.

if you flip to flower now,you might still have time to do um natural,ive had some go 3 weeks before they drop pollen,the flowers should start at about 2 to 3 weeks after flip,soon as you see head lights and white hair bang um

Not sure if he’s going to like this situation, some pollen sacs are now drooping. He’s started his 3rd week.

He’s completely inside a bag, loosely tied at the bottom

16 days after flipping to 12/12, pods are opening

Girls are 14 days after flip and I’ve collected this from two boys I have going.

So is the general consensus during 2-3 week for pollinating?

Boys were White Fire Alien Kush and going to cross Blue Dream, GG#4 and White Fire Alien Kush.

It’s been a day and a half, I’ve heard that should shrivel up and dry right away if successful. This is what they look like, does it look like it worked?

this is great idea for those with space issues! im gonna try this method!
