So I'm here to tell ya, this plant's trichromes NEVER went Amber. Clear to milky only. Autoflowers are weird beasts that don't follow the rules about a lot of things, so I'm not flipping out.
I started chopping her a bit at a time whilst waiting for the color change, mostly branches that were starting to get tan/brown. There are red hairs all over the place and they fall like confetti whenever you work with them.
This plant was pushing 130 days- the trichromes are just NOT gonna change. Amber or not, chop time.
One hack I have discovered is an easy way to hang bud to dry. Have an old multi-pair pants hanger? Bet your mom does. Check it out, remember this is just one lil ol plant.
Tried some of the early harvest stuff and it's mild and smells like armpit so I think I'm on track. Hoping the later buds are more stony. Hanging a week or until stem gets snappy, paper bag for a week til fully snappy then jar for...30 days? We will see.
She popped several beans so after cleanup I will get another round going and def get more/stronger supplemental LED lights. If it turns out to not be very strong I'll just cook it into RSO, so win-win!
Thanks to everyone for your encouragement, opinions and advice!
