the oyster shell is great for the K side of your micro but it isnt avaliable to the plant until it breaks down after about a year it will be mobile to a extent maybe 20% value,it is a very suitable amend just has to break down if you dig,ewc can be tea for your plants and would get more benifits i think,top scrathing it in also works but not as effective as soluble tea,again just my opinion
