First off, I'd like to say how much I enjoy the forum and seeing all the awesome grows! Now,

I have a 32x32x62 grow tent and one 135 QB V2 Respec with a Meanwell HLG-120H-54A driver. It is definitely bright and would probably fill up most of my space, but the specs say it will only cover a 2x2 or maybe 2x3 for flower. This got me thinking that maybe I should add another board but I have no idea if that would be better or if I would need a different driver to handle them. I should say, I'm a first time grower and don't really know what I'm doing yet.

I also have an HLG 100 V2 kit that I assembled and want to use for veg. Could I just add that to the 135 V2 Rspec (with the driver that came with it) when it was time for flower? I have been reading that more light is better (to a point). Anyone have an insight into this? Will I melt my plants? Will I melt the closet? Will this cross the streams and cause a rift in the time/space continuum?

Also, I am doing a soil grow (FFOF)

Cheers!

I think in terms of w/sq ft. The 135QB is speced for 33.75w/sq ft. If you extrapolate that to your tent (7.1 sq ft), you need 240w. So, yes, the 100 v2 should be enough light.

The problem will be the footprint of both. They're both squarish, right? Together they'll work for a rectangle tent, not a square tent.

Well, one is rectangle and the other is square lol

These are the things that happen when you start before you know what you are doing...But I am learning 👨‍🎓

It’s a qb132 I believe. Here’s an example of two 132 and a single 120 I just put together for a 2x4 tent (will be three qb132 shortly).

You can just get the lrs-75-36 for the qb132 (like 14$) and power your boards with that. I get 75w of qb power for 50$build (board and power supply) when I do single boards. When I run 4 I like the lrs-300-36
