Got into a emergency wasn’t able to get home and water plants

Plants looking super down cause I wasn’t able to water them this one is defs the worst one is it dead? I trimmed off all yellow/dead leaves and gave it a water the other plants are not nearly as severe

Water it and it will be fine. Now...DON'T let this happen again!! (said while shaking a finger at you!)
FWIW, plants will usually recover from this as long as the leaf doesn't turn crispy. Once that happens, the leaf won't recover but the plant probably will. Good luck!

Shade and moisture. Spritz them with some water in the shade. They should recover in a couple hours. Make sure the soil is wet and it didn’t runoff through channels.

@ everyone how much water would you say I should I water per plant? They are 5 gallon containers

The rule of thumb is to use enough for 10% runoff. People who are into ogranic (living soil) growing might not want much runoff. People like me do closer to 20% because I want to feed stronger and continuously wash away the salt buildup.

When the soil's really dry, it's better to pour a little (not enough for runoff, or until you see a little runoff), wait 5 minutes, pour a little more. Let it saturate. If you just pour it all in one go, it may run through without being absorbed into the material. (That's like what JWM was saying). I often feed this way. I'll pour 1/3 the nutrient soultion, wait 20 minutes, pour the rest. Not all the time. But, sometimes if I think to do it, and have the time.

I’m currently using StepWell super soil only needs water I use RO tho not sure how much to measure the run off with the fabric pots

I think people who use super soil don't do the 10% runoff thing. Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought they want to keep as much soil goodness in the soil, not wash it out.

If that's the case, just pour enough until you see some runoff which suggests that's enough. (You could do the two-step watering I described. But, you'd still finish with just a little runoff. Doing a preliminary amount would help get better/even saturation.).

Water them, then wait a few hours and re-water them, if you got a bigger Rez ( ph thewater and warmer water is what they love)

More water the better after this kinda stress

Hell foliar sprays will help em, even if it’s just kelp or random nice foliar or a random good IPM since your outdoors. Plants love to be sprayed and since it’s dry, that may help

You might even want to uppot to 15-25 gal even thou they are in flower, Ive uppoted a few times the first weeks and it’s better to do that than over stressed plants and you can’t keep up with the water ( 5 gals is ultra small for a finished plant)

I water daily, or every other day using 5 gallon buckets and Promix. I give a gallon per watering, per plant

Give them a couple of liters put them in the shade and check back in an hour or so. If they have perked up give them a couple more.
