Made up a batch of tincture last night.
20191013 175202

I've taken 5ml today. Great taste.

While manicuring buds and collecting seeds my fingers became coated with resin.
20191013 180854

Enough to scrape and collect. Hits nice and tastes great. I'll have to break out the hair straightener and parchment paper.

Just saw this mantis fly in and land.
20191013 201721

Larger species then I usually see.

Extremely happy with this years harvest.
20191013 092045

Been smoking this for 3 months and still not tired of it and produced hundreds of seeds.

I've begun mainline training on 5 of my coco plants.
20191013 170602

Still need one more topping and have 3 weeks before flip. I could see a 15-20" stretch. Harvest won't be until Jan/Feb. Feb/March harvest are 2 wks old and growing well.
20191013 204321

I'll plant March/April's harvest Oct 25.

Really enjoying the coco and MasterBlend grow.

Weather is changing as days get shorter and the tomatoes are fading. Even the cherries are slowing down. Sunflowers have all been harvested and even shared with the local birds. End of grow season always makes me sad.

I still haven't taken down the horse manure plant.
20191013 213142

She's ready and should be good for sleep aid caps and couch lock smoke.

I also have the other 5 plants I clipped the main stalks lower branches still maturing.

Been a good year.

Been a really good year.
20191014 170016

Main goal with this years grow was to produce enough seeds not to have to worry about it for a couple years. I'll still pollinate a girl or two but not the rest. I can be selfish for a couple years and only plant and keep a couple of each pheno I want to work.

Had a nice sativa brancher that if topped just once would look good in a SOG.

Or the straight up very little other branching and what there was was small. I bet that would really take to mainline training. Really good stretch on her too.

And of course my #1 clone from my #1 plant (the gopher plant, gopher took down June 2 or 3) which are the seeds in the dish. My coco grow is seeds from her sister. Just like her but smaller. Genetics are all there but these are strictly 8 cola plants or compost. No boys this winter grow.

I still have ounces of seed filled bud drying, curing, being smoked. I'd guess 1000 +/- seeds.

Been a good year.

Water heater circulating pumps with 1/2" connections work well on a timer. Lot of pressure so 1/4" drip heads won't get fouled up as often. They run about $100 but will last for years.

I'm going to order a vivosun 400 gph submersible for $20 from Amazon for the bathtubs. I doubt if it would last for pushing through small pipe/tubing but just to circulate water should work well.

I have a used circ pump from a heater I replaced last week so if I get that itch to go full blown hydro this winter I'm ready.
think I may need the little pump too :( ...>>>:) lol... Think I got the bug also.....

Once you see the difference in growth rates you have no choice. My potting soil mix is vastly improved but I still hate growing in pots of soil. Coco on the other hand rocks.

In 9 days I'll be planting the next crop and will put a few in baskets for Kratky bottles to start and ultimately in dwc buckets.

Amazon has 400gph water pumps for $20.😉

The weekend is coming to an end. Smoke 'em if ya got 'em! I sure have been.

Took the horse manure plant down several days ago. She's been hanging in the garage with my last potted girl who suffered sun/heat burn pretty bad. She's been hanging for a few weeks and is bone dry. Caps are in her future. I promised a cap recipe and I'll use her for it hopefully soon.

I still have 5 bottom halfs growing with maturing flowers.

They all got SuperThrive today. More work and I've got one ready to be manicured and jarred.

Drilled and siliconed the drain on the shower pan.
20191019 190817

Put a tee and valve on so I can drain it.
20191019 190828

And it drains into the filter of the tank.
20191019 190850

Tomorrow I'll run the water lines.

Watered them twice tonight.
20191020 194709

They've been suffering while the drain line sealant was setting up. Couldn't water.

Even got some burn on a couple leaves from not heavy watering. No worries, the plants are rocking so I really don't care.

Been puffin' all day. Toasted. Someone pass the butter...

Hey I was wondering if any of you guys in here know what's the best seeds and down thanks alot...and which ones are the easiest to grow
The best seeds to grow are the seeds you have.

Okay, how ya growing? Indoor I would assume. Where ya at? How's the weather now and what do you expect in the coming weeks/months? Can you control the temp and RH?

Honestly, match the conditions you can easily produce and order/grow them.

In ffof I'm in Northeast pa and yes I can control and I have an 400 hps and mh ...so which ones r high yields and which ones r easy tho
Si! In the language of my people of sunny so cal. Easy? None of 'em. They all need a certain amount of care. Again, look at the conditions you can control and punch it into a search engine. I'm growing way past my usual harvest time. Normally I'm planting spinach, broccoli, etc this time of year. Growing weed while harvesting pumpkins is new to me but here in sunny so cal I think I can make a go of it and may even get some purple buds with the coming lower temps.

But that's me here in San Diego. Come Feb it might get tough. I don't know, haven't been here before.

I have what I have so I have to make it work with the conditions I can control, which outside in a greenhouse are limited. So far so good. I like the strain/cross I have and am learning more about this strain as the weather changes. Having a blast!

Everyone hates spiders but snakes are ok? As a plumber I have to at least tolerate spiders or I'd never be able to do the job. I crawl under houses and in atics a lot. Servicing my apprenticeship many moons ago I opened up a cabinet under a kitchen sink coated with cock roaches. That bothered me more than any spider. I had to lay on my back to work while the roaches would drop on me.

i was just gonna say! spiders are awesome. but snakes scare the fuck out of me!! i don't care that it's a king snake. i don't care if it's a garter. they're the only organism that freaks me out.

Quick update

Sunshine today. Charged up an old phone and took a few picks. I'll grab one of my old cameras tomorrow and get shots of everything, weather permitting of course but had to share this one of a baby praying mantis patrolling one of my females. Love this pic.

Another long day of work ahead so until tomorrow, Happy Growing.

go get 'em praying mantis!

Pretty awesome site, eh? When I finally joined in May, after scoping out the place I knew I was home.

Spiders are the reason I could never be a plumber. Not a fan, especially the huge wolf spiders. Nope. No thanks.

Snakes I have zero problem with and could handle them slithering across my face no problem.

Funny how humans have different phobias..

funny how we all have our weak spots. bears are actually really cool. as long as they're not grizzlies. i lived on vancouver island for awhile and saw alot of brown bears. chill souls just lookin' to eat. :)
Almost walked into a bag Black bear at the San Gaberiel River. It was rummaging through a dumpster and I was taking trash out at twilight. About 20' out he turned and my light caught red eyes. I backed away slowly.

Got chased by a young one maybe 2 yrs old digging in a trashcan. I thought it was tame, people everywhere. Nope.😂
