You should start LST. Tie bottom to 1 side and the top to the other side to create like 90* as much as you can without breaking. In early flower they should grow few time that so maybe dont worry. Idk im 1st timer

Man i have to say that I was totally freaked out to do the LST but after doing it i can see how it can help. I am sure i am like everyone else with the first grow., excited but worried about screwing up. I have a 2x4x6 tent with 2 600 watt leds but but after seeing what the LST does i felt like i needed more light so i just ordered a 2000 watt unit.

It could be light intensity. They look healthy so good job on that. For a first grow that should be your entire focus so don't try doing to much. Low stress training is a good option to play with.

1 bit of advice less is more. Always start with less and slowly increase giving a few days between each change to see results. So maybe start increasing the light a bit and wait a day to see how it reacts. Move it only an inch or 2 a day.

Post pics often and people will be able to catch things early for ya.

Good job so far.

Not bad. Later when top grow tie down on another node to pull it down even more and tie new branches to the side away from bush, you can also tie fan leaves dont worry. How many plants you have? Maybe 2k W is overkill? Maybe just DIY reflective walls that you can surround plants with for the first run. You can fit many many autos in that tent 😜

I have 3 autos growing. Thought the 2k was ok because it says it is recommended for 1 plant in a 3x3 space. I was planning on eliminating the 2 600's and only running the 2k unless everyone thinks thats a bad idea.

I think thats big waste of electricity money. If you can grow photoperiod to fill 3x3 sure.... I have 3 XL genetic autos in 60x60cm space. Kinda small but its enough. Put reflective material around the plants and still 1x 600 is overkill. Your problem is just wide tent so no reflection = low light intensity. Run just 1x 600 and leave 2k for future with full tent of plants. Im running 150W HPS. You didnt tell how high is the light above the top? You can download LUX app. So.. walls. Its the answer.

Recommendations don't always equal the actual recommended amount. With 2600 or even 2000W you could probably easily grow 5-6 plants provided that it covers the canopy evenly. If you do use high powered lights keep a close eye on nutrient deficiencies and burns as your plant takes water (and nutrients) from the soil at a rapid pace.

I also completely agree with rogone, it's your electricity bill that suffers the most from this. I'm at week 4 and my plants are just about as big as yours, my growspace is a lot smaller and my light wattage doesn't exceed even 120W. Sure I could do better with more but it definetly works 😉.

What are your opinions on this product that i found at home depot. They have it in a few heights so i could make some little walls around the plants out if it.

I used that for my buckets. Reflective walls are not a must but if you are going for it this would be cheaper. I used it to build my grow room. 1 side is reflective I can add a pic so you see.

I was just reading up on negative and positive pressure in the tent. I have a very positive effect going on. The walls bulge out. Do you think that could also be something that would be a reason for my girls being small?
