Hey guys first time grow here I’ve been having some yellowing of fan leaves that seem to be progressing upwards I just top dressed the plants with a 1-5-2 and worm castings about 5 days ago when they originally started to yellowing hoping it was just a deficiency, just checked the ph of soil run off and it’s about 6.8 which I don’t think could be attributing to the leaves they are at the end of week 5 of flower. Thank you for any help

While looking back in my current grow diary posts, you can see the fairly rapid change from dark green to lighter greens/yellow into bloom and I’m now only two weeks int bloom. I don’t know what or how much you’ve been feeing your plants, but to me they seem overfed, to be so green at what I take to be a later stage of bloom (than my grow).

I agree with @Dan789 , just looks like normal growing stuff to me. There’s always the odd, weird yellow leaf of maybe a brown spot here and there on plants. Honestly, looking at your pics, I don’t see anything “wrong” at all. Maybe a tiny bit of nute burn or something on the leaf tips, but that’s it. Grow looks good, dude!

Thank you guys for the help! I guess I’ll just keep doing what I have been doing and stop worrying lol. I thought they weren’t suppose to yellow until the “flush” when the plants start to consume themselves. Thanks again! I’m using a living soil and top dressing about once a month and photosynthesis plus and grow kashi everyone couple weeks

Ideally, they won’t yellow at all. My plants are typically pretty green when I chop. That whole “the plants fade as they flower” idea is a hydroponic thing. If you’re growing organically, they tend to stay pretty green the whole time (although my Tree of Lifes faded pretty good). But good idea on just chilling and letting the plants do their thing. That’s the best thing about organic growing. It’s so low-stress. As long as your soil mix is all good, you really don’t have to do a whole hell of a lot besides water them.

Having said that, I’d recommend you start using a little BioAg Ful-Power. You just add a tablespoon per gallon of water every ten days or two weeks and it makes a big difference. Good shit!

Nice looking grow✊🏼, looks more like week 5 since flipping. Is it possible that you switched to all bloom nutes. I’ve seen this when pros talk about leaves yellowing in early flower from a lack of N.

Yeah for sure, I was having a hard time not micro-managing them in the beginning seems weird to only water and top dress maybe a couple times but I’ve gotten better lol. I’ll check out the BioAg just started a new batch of autos I’ll try it on. Thank you for you help!

Thanks bro! I’m using a living soil and just top dressed but if It gets worse then I’ll probably try doing another top dress. I guess we will see! Thanks again
