PM or humidifier dust?

It wipes off. The second plant posted has humidifier dust on it from using tap water.

It's only on a couple leaves on top.

under a microscope, it resembles a white dust, not like clear fungus like i found on google

its not clear like that.

Cant tell much from the pics but you can use ro water in those humidifiers and it wont make dust. It will get into everything. I learned the hard way. Completely clogged my filter and fan.

My phone isn't looking thru the microscope well, I'll continue to keep tryingm but you can somewhat see it.nit looks like white rocks.

if your going to use tap water boil it 1st... let it sit a few hrs then use it........ walmart sale bottle water ...Distilled for using in a Iron same thing = $$$$$

I get the point of this scare though... Time to clean and fix the humidifier issue ive been sitting on forever

i have had a 4k, post surgical ice machine take a giant dump on me, for this exact reason, "the clog"... I'd give your left nut, to have it work, for my lovely g, today; IF i could find where i hoarded it.

You have calcium deposits on your leaves. If you use tap water, its filled with minerals, especially calcium. Hook up an RO to your humidifier and you won't have this "dust" that you speak of.
