Hey guys, were in week 3 of flower, or going into week 3 rather, and i decided to take a couple leaves off my plants to allow light in. Being a newby and having microscopes n shit, i was all like i wanna check out this shit. So i was looking at it.. And i noticed something.....
After seeing these, i started to look at the rest of my plant, and almost every leaf has them.
I understand transpiration. I know they secrete water, and even plant oils. But why are these transpiration looking bulbs, milky?
I did a little research and the closest egg, or bulb that looks like that, would be spider mites.
So, after freaking out because fuck i dont want fucking mites, I looked at the plant again, and i noticed something, i havent found a damn mite anywhere. I continued looking, and i pretty much leaf stripped my whole plant looking at leaves, trying to find a sign of a bug.
NOTHING. Ive spent the last 3 hours, endlessly looking and i havent found a damn living thing on this plant, other than the plant itself.
So i dont understand, what are these? Transpiration? Eggs? I dont see any mite damage anywhere, my plants are looking awesome. No russet mite damage, no broad mite damage. I just dont get why these are milky. I am in flower, maybe theyre trichomes?
The milkyness is what is worrying me.
The plants:
Healthy plants,
No webbing, No resins left behind on top of the leaves. no tacoing, or curling, nothing of that odd sort, completely healthy, flourishing plants. No dead leaves, no growth stunt. Healthy.
Just weird to see? Another cosmo overreaction?
