I have these little gals, kinda planted late so they were small.Been outside waiting to see what would happen this being my first grow and all.Decided enough was enough and started chopping.Found these things.

So why did they show up so late in the cold?

Four of the nine don't appear to be affected and I submerged the stalks of the infested plants in water a few times, shook and beat the stems against a surface until few if any appear.
Do I continue with harvest or are they going to infest my house if I bring them inside to dry?

Damn bro thats a shit load of aphids. I would continue the harvest as long as your are able to knock most of them off.

I don't know about dipping them in water either... Could cause problems with bud rot and mold... No sprays either - don't want to be putting those chemicals in your body. I would knock them all off - and chop those puppies down asap.

Still dumping chems on your buds right before you smoke them... I don't know if that would be the smartest idea...

Aphids are a year long problem at my little hydro shop in Ohio. Even now, with temperatures dipping close to 30 degrees, they plague all of our peppers. They seem to laugh in the face of pyrethrin and neem. Where there is one, there are likely to be a great many in a short period of time. I think it would be risky to bring them in where you might have other plants.

I think not only do you have to spend some time doing this manually removing them but also some research into where the eggs are deal with removing them because it is the source that has to be stopped immediately
