So today marks days 37 from germ, and i recently received my TDS meter and after measuring my plants for the first time they all seem to be extremely high, some as high as 1200ppm but i suspect the higher ones are caused from stress? The 2 that tested over 1000ppm are the two that i have topped and LST'd. Is this bad for them? Do i need to flush my plants? Im using fox farm ocean mix, and up until yesterday ive been using tap water with a ppm of about 425ppm and ph to 6.5. But yesterday i used distilled water with enough tap water to make it 100ppm and then adddd some cal-mag and some light nutes to make the water 232ppm and 6.45ph. Most of my plants look great with the exception that they seem stressed out due to their red stems but i know it could possibly just be genetics. Just want to know if everything is within a propper range.

I didn't think topping/training/etc raised ppm levels. Maybe someone else has a different answer, truthfully I haven't taken ppm readings in years, I should but don't. Maybe someone will see this & have better response than me

Well its really the stress that i would suspect is causing the plants to take up less nutrients causing my readings to be higher on the 2 topped and LSTd plants

Yeah ive got some pictures of them but ill have to take pics of stems when i get home from work. Also the majority of the leaves that have had yellowing orb dried up i have cut off so you cant really tell but the first few sets of leaves on all of them had yellowing from overwatering and under watering about a month ago

Im still needing to figure out what the ppm of my water that i put into the plants should be. Because from the research ive done the runoff from some of my plants are much too high. And i know i dont really need to feed it now since im using fox farms soil and im less than 3 weeks from my last transplant. But is the 230 mark still too high?
