Would love to hear ideas and advice.
If your just going to go for it with what was given to you(which is how I started too, and never stopped haha) I'd say get yourself some pots and bag of good potting mix, something without time release nutrients(Important!)most miracle grow soils have those little fert balls in them and that will be an issue later. You'll want a basic nutrient line, wether that is General Hydroponics 3 part or some other brand you just want an all purpose fertilizer line. They probably won't even need any for a while in soil. You'll want to transplant when container bottoms are full of roots, usually like that baby pot its in, then up one larger while its vegging, and one larger when you're ready for flower. (can skip the middle one if you keep it small and go straight to flower.) Also put some dark paper or something around that clear pot, light in the roots can make for some rotting if you aren't careful.
next best advice:
Try growing out the one you have already growing for some experience. Then once you have a space, and a little routine for taking care of plants, you can get your other seed started. First ones are always a learning experience so no worries if you kill a plant or something. Once you've caught the grow bug you'll buy some seeds again.. Theres so much that can be said but you really have to decide where your buddy will live, what you will feed it, how tall it has room for, where it will get fresh air, where hot air will be vented(if your using hot lights), what will be filtering your stankin flower air.
You'll probably also need a light, some fans, a filter(for smell, you'll need this if you're not legal), maybe a tent, maybe just some panda plastic, etc and ongoing. Read up as much as you can, make a setup that is easy to clean and access your plant. Basically you could grow it on a window sill, but the environment you make will determine the buds you get from it. Just ask for more specific questions.
Soil is from the organic recycling center. Led lights and fan now. 2 new seeds are sprouted no tent till flower stage.Hate to hear that. Give us a lil more info about your setup, soil, and what you are or are going to feed. Lots of pros around here. Not a pro yet but I know a lil something. Hope all is better with your second seed.
I'm hoping someone here Will tell me what to feed.Hate to hear that. Give us a lil more info about your setup, soil, and what you are or are going to feed. Lots of pros around here. Not a pro yet but I know a lil something. Hope all is better with your second seed.
with you being in veg stage you typically dont need anything but thats all dependent upon the soils condition going into the grow.I'm hoping someone here Will tell me what to feed.
I do have 4 of those lights so I will be surrounding the plants with them.with you being in veg stage you typically dont need anything but thats all dependent upon the soils condition going into the grow.
google cannabis leaf deficiency signs. save that picture. then check your plant and reference the chart to see whats lacking if anything (in the future).
then look up soil ph availability ... your ph level could make it appear you lack a certain element in your soil. its just that the plant cant use it, but its definitely in the soil. the ph chart will show you. soil slurry is used to check ph of your soil so you know what youre giving your plants roots to work with.
usually when the ph is out of norm, you'll notice its at an area where the nutrient(s) you lack isnt able to be used by the roots -- the ph soil availability chart will show you what i mean by that.
google organic nutrients for cannabis ... theres a handful of lineups out there.
im currently using foxfarms 3-part line up. teaspoons for a gallon of water.
ph the water to 6.8 and pour it in. let the soil dry dry before watering again. pot should be light when you pick it up. most people follow a scheduled system so water feed feed or water feed water feed water feed. all depends on your environment as that influences what the plant is able to use and how quickly/slowly
for your 45watt led light, i dont think thats remotely a good idea for 24-6-6 but idk jack shit about that.
but i do know 45 watts is very very little light and i'd be surprised if you harvest more than like a 1/4 ounce per plant with that considering its LED 45 watts so its probably like 30 watts of oomph
can usually use no nutes until flower. i didnt have to use nutes until the week before flowering. and i vegged for 40 days. if your plants are green, theres no need to add nutes. thats how lots of people kill their first plant. they use nutes because duh i need to use nutes, man. but, they don't need them yet. wait to see signs of deficiency and check soil ph before nuking your soil with extra nutes
the oomph in a light has a huge influence on how much weed you will get from 1 plant, keep that in mind.
Thanks for the infowith you being in veg stage you typically dont need anything but thats all dependent upon the soils condition going into the grow.

Yea I read everything. Grow Bible to everything else. It's a bit late now, but I suggest a bit of research. There are great books and a lot of good information out there.
Keep in mind, asking random forum people what to do will give you a lot of good knowledge, but it will also give you their superstitions, bad habits and false information. So double and triple check what you can before committing to anything.
We have a great community here, and nobody is going to intentionally deceive you. But people are often wrong, mistaken or just dont know any better.
Make sure you understand how it works, not just what to do and you should be fine!
Good luck man! Looking good so far
