Medical grow log of Cotton Candy, Sour D, and Pineapple Kush.

I am doing a little medical project right now. Where I live one can have 6 plants per patient that they caregive for, since I caregive for 15 patients and I also have my card I am allowed to grow a total of 96 plants. Unfortunately this current project of mine does not have C02 running and there has been some electrical problems but I still have been super impressed. I have 16 plants under 3Ks, I just started to switch hoods to the magnum xxls which are awesome. Of the 16 plants I have two pineapple master kush, two Sour D, one Erkel, and the rest are cotton candy. The cotton candy came from a seed that was acquired twelve years ago or so and saved for a very long time. My friends and I think that it might be the biggest yielding strain of all time, it was definitely bred for commercial purposes. I will be crossing all my strains with SFV OG I got from cali connect. Hopefully some cool stuff will be coming. As for right now my camera was leant to a friend in another state and has not returned. I am using a shitty one right now, but will upgrade the photos after the cannabis cup. Here is one photo of cotton candy that is halfway finished.

Yeah for some reason all of my cola's on the cotton candy are forming multiple heads at the top, I think that superthrive might be the culprit as it is the only other thing that has been added this time around. Some of the colas have up to five heads on the top, and they are looking amazing. I will post up some nicer pics tonight, I am going to borrow a friends camera so that I can make sure to take the pics that I want.

This is a dry nug shot of the Pineapple. It was harvested on day 43, which in and of itself is astonishing but even more is that it came from a so cal "masters" bud that was accidentally crossed with a buddies pineapple, somehow this pheno just finishes quick. I just got a new camera and will be chopping down the cotton candy soon so I will post pics before I do. Hope you enjoy.

Wow the last few days have been super busy, I finally made it home to my computer to upload these photos......The first one is the sour d, I don't know what the total yield was but it looks to be fantastic, the next is the cotton candy, the next is my purple urkel, and then the last one is my tahoe og that is just starting to get it going, it was three weeks behind everything else. The candy turned an amazing purple, and my boys swear that I must have Co2 going, but none in this room.

I opened this account to ask you about your cotton candy grow. I have found very little on the net about this plant until I ran into your log. Thanks for that! Those twin towers look sweet! This strain highly interests me :)

Here are some questions from a newb any help is MUCH appreciated!!

How many days and how tall did you let them veg for?
How tall did they ultimately get?

Did you do any pruning or training? And if so how did they respond?

What was the smell like during the grow?
I have read that it's very smelly while curing.

What was the average yield per plant?

Any nutrient or watering tips on this strain?

Anything you would try differently?

Could you give a small smoke report?
Does it really taste like it's name suggests?

Do you know whose seeds they were?

Here is a link you might find interesting. They have crosses of cotton candy, however I haven't found if this site is legit. I know hempdepot also sells straight cotton candy seeds, and I have read several good things about hempdepot.

Hey buddy, hope I can help. My cotton candy came from very old seed, that was actually from a bag. The finished product from the seed is exactly like I remember it originally tasting. The strain has insane vigor, turns slightly purple at the end, and tastes very sweet. The yield is unbelievable. It is a very light feeder, and loves to be power-cropped. The buds will be ridiculously big if you do. I hope this helps, let me know if I can answer anymore questions.

Oh yeah and it tastes great, smells more like cotton candy than it tastes though. I would assume that any seed company from vancouver island would have something similar but who knows? Good luck on your hunt!

I'm not positive but I now think the link posted is out of date, sorry for that. I did find that Dr. Chronic has some Federation seeds such as Cotton Candy and I've read mixed experiences with the good Dr.

I have a question about the type of high. I have read some describe it as an Indica stone, others say it's kind of heady. I've got a giant Irish mellon so I'm already heady enough. One site says it's Indica without the sleepies, and will require you to drink fluids? I guess a lot depends on when you chop, chop, chop it up. What would you say it's buzz is like??
