Hello Everyone this is my first post on the forum, im also quite new to grow so please ignore my incorrect terminology.

i recently set up a DWC system with central reservoir, everything had been going great until now. Yesterday i woke up to find all my plants had wilted massively and look incredibly sad. The lights have been at a decent distance and the air stones are all running well. The system has been emptied weekly and new PHed water added with the new weekly nutrients.

Currently the nutrients used are plant magic, current rotation of:

Humidity 36% - 52% ( fluctuates between this)

Temperature 21.4*c - 27.8*c
Urgent help required sick gorrila zkkitles

SYSTEM SIZE 45L

DWC A - 22.5ML Per L

DWC B - 22.5 per L

ROOT STIMULANT - 225.0ml per L

PURE CLEAN - 22.5ml per L

HYDRO SILICON - 22.5ml PER L

EVOLUTION SPRAY - used when dark, and used until there is run off

Currently im unable to read ppm and ec but i do have a tester kit on the way in the mail so i can update those numbers when it comes. i worried it may be a ppm that is to high so system has temporally been diluted.
Roots are stained brown due to the root stimulant

Hi there, if your lights out temperature is 21.4 c what’s your bucket water temperature at probably a couple of degrees cooler I’m assuming and that’s probably a bit cold for a root zone. I’m a soil grower so I don’t know much about soilless. When in veg I try to keep my humidity around 60%or a bit higher with good airflow. If your buckets are sitting on a cold cement floor I would prop them up on some styrofoam blocks to help keep things a bit warmer just my thoughts for you to try. Best of vibes bro!!

also the root nutrients used died the roots brown slightly, i know its a stupid question but how are guys telling that its root rot? if i treat this with the magic plant enzyme for now while i wait for the hydro-guard to arrive, what are the chance of them surviving at this stage?
Looks like root rot.
Yes Rood Rot for sure!!!!

I've had them come back from some thing like that, tease apart the dark brown parts of the roots, more air in your buckets, make sure your stump is out of the water and only the roots are submerged, your pot needs to be about 2 inches above the water. I used Cannazyme to get rid of my root rot, it consumed it faster than a hungry dog could eat a sandwitch. lol Don't know why it's not doing the business for you.

I am getting a different temperature when I convert to Fahrenheit. Like 70 to 81. Assuming the bucket is around the same temperature that is a perfect environment for Pythium to grow. The color of the roots should always be white, the dark color is caused by Pythium.

What would be the correct temperature range of the medium?

you want your buckets between 68-70 degrees. Anything over 70, and you start to produce an environment for root rot. Plus your DO(dissolved oxygen) levels will start to drop. I understand some nutrients will turn your roots a light brown color. I personally use enzyme komplete. I just add a 1.5-2ml per bucket, or I add about 6ml to my central/brain bucket in my rdwc system. I've never had any root issues.

Good luck!

to a litre too much do you mean 2.5 ml
Is 22.5ml

22.5 ml to a litre is it not 2.5 then its 25ml to 10ltr

Enzyme komplete is pretty concentrated. For my 5gallon bubblers, 1.5-2ml for the roughly 4gallons(14L) bucket. Start light. Its almost like a bubble bath if you over do it. I don't use it like hydroguard where people measure it and 100% add it every time they rez change or add nutes. I read my plants. If there's any question. I add a bit. If not. Then I don't.
I see people waste nutes and all the other stuff they add just to do it. If you're ontop of your shit. Then there's no need to just add stuff. I check my system(roots,ph,ppm, pumps, lines) twice daily. So I'd know immediately if there's a need for it. But then you have people who don't check there system for 2-3days and wonder how something happen. Great horticulture habits produce great plants.
Check it, double check it. Write it down. Keep a journal. Watch your numbers. After a while you'll know exactly 'what' and 'why' and how to fix it before it's a problem. Sorry about the rant/book... adderall does it to me. Lol
If you don't have anything on hand to fix this. 3% hydrogen peroxide. Many write ups on people having great results solving root rot problems with it if you have nothing else or can't get anything else quickly.

If I were you. I'd get a 5 gallon bucket. Fill it up with ph'd water only. Make sure its it's 68-70degrees. No need to shock your plants with cold water.

I'd go 1 cap full 3% h202 per gallon.
Remove plant/netpot from your system. Dip it in this bucket a few times. Don't be afraid to swish the roots around in there. (don't get carried away, swish, not have a seizure)
Return netpot and plant back to system. Your ladies should come back to life.
H202 will kill everything good and bad in your system.
