So,

Im moving to my new house soon and i will have more then enough room.

There is an unfinished basement room on concrete floor, size of 29x14 feet. I am planning my next things there.

Here what my plan look like.

4x4 grow tents ( maybe a 5x5 if price is right heh ? )

I was looking at the Wilma system....I did enjoy LST, but I do plan on making them a little bit taller thinking i will yield a little more!
I am using Nutri+ nutrients....switched from technaflora... They were cheap lol.... seem to be working fine, except alot of salt built in my last setups, while its not something i cannot deal with, it has to be taken in consideration.

So i was thinking if anyone here had idea for that? I already have a fews water pump ( got scared of one dieing on me so I have 3 now lol ), I see alot of PVC tubing setup, but Im afraid the limits of the plant size they can handle ? As well as the size of a system to be efficient for 4 plants without wanting roots to tangles with each others? Are there any others viable solutions? Wilma is quite expensive too...and read here and there a fews bad story , but overall seem still good. Nothing is perfect sadly :D I do live in canada, my next seed will be some 1x Blue dream and 3x Zkittlez , read a bit there and it may look like something I can work with, any tips are welcome, this will be my 3rd growth and so far I think i love hanging with my little girl more then anything :D . Im thinking of a second setup like my first, but with a fews modifications to help me get going, somehow the space wont be the issue anymore. I was first thinking of building a whole room in that basement room, and sort of hide it, while isolating it....but figured a grow tents just fits my needs and its less expensive overall.

Yo if you're gonna go four plants than do it in a 500L tub lol. 1290mm L x 850mm W x 450mm D. This is actually something I'm seriously considering. I believe that with indoor growing pot size is the limiting factor. All you would need to do is make a custom lid for it which will probably be as expensive as the tub. Grow space height would then become the next limiting factor.

So i would leave the reservoir outside the tent? Probably on a heating mat ? and just cut a wood pannel on top of it no? ,but where do I get that in canada ? Ive seen grow tent like 80inch tall so , thinkin 12 inch for my light (leave me a little play) , and maybe 20inch for the PVC tubing as this reservoir at 45mm is around 16inch and i need gravity to do his magic? that leave me a little under 48 inch, so maybe 3 feet talls plans if LED lights are 12inch from plant witch seem a little close.... Not sure you follow all my math here hahaha

102L , anything i can find with a lid, nothing over 200L around...Ive seen some 170L around.. 102L is around 26Gallon, that around 6.5 gallon per plant? isnt that enough and even maybe a little too much ? That's gonna cost a shit ton nutrients to fill and expect flushing system every 2 weeek a little expensive no? My last setup, my little girl could drink maybe 2 L a day each a day so even if I would double their drinking habbit, 4 plan would last about 5-6 day if i dont top up water to compensate the water loss and nutrients rise ?

Also buying two of these would make it simple to change reservoir instead of flushing? I know i have alot of talent with paint, but just to get an idea of what im thinking of . I want every plant to have same amount of nutrients, I dont want roots to tangles with each other

for water to go down, dont need alot of angle, im think of 2% to be able as much as possible to save on the space, the plan here will need to be modified to be adapted to the current situation of being in a tent and using premade holes ( gravity will do the rest for me ) so go down and go back up, just under the level of the PVC tubbings if i want the reservoir out of the tent.

Only thing with tents is gonna be humidity control and temp. You are going to have a lot of air moving if you have more than 2 tents. I personally hate my tent I added in my basement vs the rooms made of 2x4's and panda. Price wise they are about the same (4x8 w/ 2k)

Rez size is going to be a big determining factor of plant height after lights depending on how tall your ceiling are. Really easy for the stretchers to burn close to the lights if not careful especially in water. Tent is even worse since you loose about a ft or so of ceiling. With this setup I got away with dropping low enough and the pot size being right above the rez edge. The setup below is maybe 60 bucks in material (minus the tent). It drains to a smaller 11 gal under the gutter with a float and pumps to a drain.

Also those totes go all the way up to 55 gals. If putting water in them tho you want to use a strap like you see in the pic cause they will bow something fierce and possibly break.

Im pretty sure I have close to unfinised ceiling about 8.5 feet up, and I also use LED light. Did not get them to burn around 12inch from lights, and light were about 6 inch from the top of the tent to give me some room. Something around 3-4 feet high for me will be fine, My last two were using Lots of LST and while they were standing between 3-2 feet. I have both an humidifier and a dehumidifier in both scenario. Ive seen tents in the price range of 300$CAD ( 5x5x6,7). I do have 2 different inline fan , one around 300cfm and other around 600cfm, I was planning on running the big one in the tent, maybe blowing in the room, and using the second to get the air out on a timer to get some fresh air. I also have the carbon filter for both. I can adjust both, not planning on running 100% on them. I love you idea, i didnt even tought of that possibility, i will look into a pump with a float system. That's a huge space saving indeed!

yeah thats one thing i worry about with running them in a tub is all the roots will entangle. So i just prefer running them in their individual 5 gallon buckets

Yeah ive thought about a setup like that too..., doesnt seem like it couldnt be run the same way, linking all the drain together running back to the rez, then a dripping style like my super drawing. Im just afraid that it will be a little trouble to drain all the remain on a flush and wash everything once in a while. That's why the Wilma kit seem like a good start too, but to import the XL kit in canada is around 350 but that seem so conveniant on time saving overall.

So, heres a little idea ive created with tinker cad.... Frame would be in wood. reservoir size match around 80L only, Yes its low, I may have room for modifications. This total project should cost around 100$ CAD. The tray are actually those plastics Shelves i would flip and grind / cut all the part. The garden tray are too expensive for that matter. I could reuse the hole already made and simply give it a little angle. The hole ive made arnt definitives, just for understanding purpose.

Let me know what you think of that :D Size of this would remain under 24 inch, yes, its a little bit high if i follow the plan. But it could be lower a bit still, lets say 21 inch + pots. In a 80 inch tall grow tent ( 6,7 ) , thats leave me a around 50inch, LED grow light clearange 8 inch from top, 12 inch from plant, leave me 30inch or so for grow room. Best options would be to remove the tent and make a room on itself or get a taller one, by doing so, I could bring it upper a bit and use a bigger rez. On the size, it is actually 4x4x2 in those picture.
