Is it time? Hydroponic grow day 50, breeder info says 8-10 weeks to harvest. I'm seeing cloud trichomes, but pistols mostly green and lush. I have old man eye! Wedding cake strain.

What's the confusion? You see some white frost? You're gonna see a lot more in the next few weeks. It looks normal to me. It's 7 weeks now and has 2-3 weeks left.

Always check the trichomes on the bud, never on the leaf because they ripen much earlier

I agree and will add that the magnifying glass is just one tool for determining when to harvest. My best tool is my nose - it always knows.

After 10 minutes in my grow room my sniffer becomes disabled. Like it tunes out the smell completely. Old man nose?

LOL my old man nose has been making the call for 41 years. I think as my vision and hearing deteriorate, my nose gets better.

I've never had a great sniffer, my wife on the other hand reminds me it smells like skunk during her daily laps around the house. My grow is in an old building behind the house.

When you know you're close and she says the smell is stronger, you'll know what to do.
