Need advice off someone who has used this soil before ideally.
Got 2 plants showing nitrogen toxicity
1 showing cake mag deficiency.

I'm just feeding ph tap water 6.5 ph
Tap water bit hard 0.5 ec.

Is there enough nutrients in to get me through veg. I was told there was by guy in hydro store.

For flower I'm gena use a bloom and a pk for one week.

Is this media got to be watered like soil or coco.
It's made from blak peat white peat and perlite.

Pic below nitrogen toxicity.
Let me no ya thoughts. Cheers.

My first guess would be tap water is not good. It is a bit hard and problem is you don't know how much calcium and magnesium is in the tap water......then trace elements need to be in the right ratios.

There is also bicarbonates in tap that will prevent proper pH values.

Lastly but possibly most important is you need a good microherd of healthy bacteria of the nitrogen fixing type....that would take care of any nitrogen toxicity that may be going on.

Forgot to mention you also need to flush and catch some runoff for testing pH and TDS......get you a good tea brewing and then a good watering with a balanced nutrient line of your choice.

The thing about RO water is that you are starting from "zero" and can now build a proper nutrient profile matching your style and needs of growing.

I've never used that product, but you are for sure on the right track. Once you get the biology established in the soil you will see improvements.

Adding nutrients to your tap water may be counter productive depending on what is in your water. Take a water sample to your local water company for testing......your best bet is to get a good water filter.

Nutrient companies like Veg+Bloom and others sell nutrient formulas made for use with hard water.

You should be OK until flower......how many weeks veg are you planning? The biology in the tea will make the nutrients already present in the soil available to the plants.

Hang in there buddy, you will get things figured out. 👍👍

Erm one more week max . Depending how they am looking. Dont like flipping if they am looking u healthy
They got potted up the other day so that's new soil and new nutrients again ain't it. So shud be fine.
Gena give microbes tonite as they will need watering.
Hownlpngs it take microbes to get to work in the soil and help make nutrietns available. Day or 2aint it.
