I've used different things in the past for my outdoor and iv been applying neem oil with the grow does anyone know about adding neem oil to the water before watering to help the plant absorb it in the roots I only ask because the tree they get the oil from in Africa from what I was leaning does thing naturally though it's own process and I was wondering if anyone had any progress with cannabis

Aside from the problems you’d run into with trying to mix water and oil. Don’t think neem is something you want getting down to the roots. Having the roots coated with an oil would only cause absorption problems.

It can be used as a soil drench if its adequately emulsified. If you mix it into warm water using a bit of unscented dish soap and an immersion blender it apparently does have some minimal systemic properties, but I think youd be far better off spraying it on the leaves.

i feel that iv ben using it on the leaves but the soil is getting infested in my veg spot and im worried its gonna jump to the grow because the spray isnt stopping them so i was going to spray everything in the veg room and use neem oil treated water mixed and emulsified with soap and luke warm on my girls getting ready to flower ( havnt started any pistal growth ) and then the next day spray the ones getting ready to flower and water the veg with the neem oil water mix sorry if thats a little confusing i need to smoke a bowl kids have had me stressed during this flu stuff lol

It works in drenches. It's only really used for medium based problems tho and the effectiveness is debatable. As far as using it systemically you are better off spraying it. If you want the drench route using neem cake and mixing it in the medium is a better option as a preventive. Stuff like Pyganic/Evergreen will work a lot better then neem or a combo of them.

Gonna have to look into that I have ben using the neem oil and a droplet of soap in luke warm water every night for about a week now and im noticing the population getting smaller... still a possible large issue but hopefully it dies off thanks for the response man

someone just turned me on to these. https://marronebio.com/cg/cannabis/ the non cannabis versions are 25% more concentrated im getting the quarts cause they are like $50-$60 each. But from my researching into it seems like a super effective option for all sorts of organic growing with the ability to be used up until harvest. cant say effectiveness. but given the research thats out there. seems like this will be effective and may replace my bonide and captain jacks products i keep for extreme measures. then i can also stop using pymethrin/pyrethrin types. IDK might be something to look into to add to your arsenal of tools. I was sold on it.

Hey H, the more common method is to mist leaves every 3 or 4 days , everyday can stress the plant and the idea is that you knock out the active population with one application , then 3 days later you knock out the new hatched generation , and so on ....
Every day is not a great idea in my experience...

Use neem seed meal as opposed to oil. Just soak the meal in a bucket of water and after 24 hours water with it.

If it was me I would use venerate xc , but if high populations use the evergreen 5.0 ,( than rotate back biocontrols) as a big population spike kicker ( neg is it’s a limited cycle and can’t be used beyond 3/4 week of flower ) where biocontrol can be used till end of flower and can work and fight them and 100+ Soft bodied bugs , by the terps of the fungi ( heated and dead)

another tip for cheaper “captain jacks “ which is spinosad , look into conserve sc

so much cheaper than captain jacks! Same ingredients but 22x stronger, fuck paying for water
