Assuming that's dirt on the plant, is there holes in the bucket? Soil looks like it's out of the yard?

Yes holes drilled in the bottom and put some rocks in there to help with drainage it has rained the past three days where I live

Soil is a mixture of perlite play sand top soil and black kow manure been useing Alaska fish fertilizer for nitrogen and other minerals

Maybe get some soil, like pro mix or mg organic, I used dr. Earth organic and mix in some perlite for added drainage. The wood chips hold a lot of moisture.

Ahh nvm about previous lol. Shouldn't need much if any fert that early on if using a soil that has some nutrients.
