I have three plants in an rdwc setup with a 5 gallon res.

using botanicare pbp, ph +,armour, cal mag, white shark...

plants are 5 weeks into flower and I had to make some adjustments so my canopy isn’t quite even

based on these photos can anyone recommend pruning/trimming areas?

it seems too bushy at the moment.
Genetics are two mimosa and one rainbow punch.
Current lighting is 12/12
Ph is between 5.6-6.2
TDS ppm is 700ish
Humidity 40-55%

5 weeks is a little late for defol of any sort.
I know a few growers who would suggest taking all but top leaves off but I would prolly suggest using wire n clips to open up canopy to light.
Maybe suggest taking lower leaves where any damage or blocking is occurring but don't take leaves en mass now. Its too late for proper defol.
Little forward planning next time with defoliation no later than week 3 of flower. (IMO)
Also (IMO) that net is doing f'kall. Looks like you wanted to scrog but didn't allow veg time to make use of it.. ?!?

Good luck.

Thanks for the reply!
Yeah the net was actually an afterthought. The plan was to just use it to help with light bending of some of the taller colas. I ended up with 6in netting instead of 3 and yea..its not doing to much right now.

I'll trim up some of the lower and damaged leaves and i'll just leave all those little popcorn nugs growing on the mainstem and internodes. Do you think I should just take the net off? Thanks again. Always nice having others perspectives.

Here is a pic after removing the net. Do you think this way is better? Seems like it should help with air flow

Yes week ,5 is a bit to far down the track , I would do a little clean up of the lower branches as you outlined , use this plant as a lesson you have to get the frame work of the plant set up well before you can hang fruit on it . Good luck happy growing OD.
