Welcome. Looks like you have compacted clay like soil which prevents good drainage and oxygen to the roots. Are you feeding nutrients? How often are you watering?

So my buddy is growing this one to let nature take its course only nutrient given to it was from a tea I made with worm castings and molasses water once a day other than if it rains

Once a day? I don’t have any experience feeding compost teas, but I think you need to add other things to make the tea complete. Nature will take its course if given the right parameters. Drainage and oxygen to the roots is crucial. How hard is that dirt?
