My grandfathers has been growing tons of veggies for years, he’s claiming something isn’t quite right with this years cropsHi everyone ,new here, have a few ,questions , I got ahold of some great clones , clementine , WiFi, gelato,mocho,godfather OG , some of them are getting really bushy like there wanting to bud but not really , there all in full sun for at least 10 hrs a day, I have some lucid blues and they are all normal veg mode , l don’t if they need trimming or left alone I know there different strains but this is confusing to me happening outdoors this early , any help appreciated thanks
Yeah just stay the course. They’ll probably stay in the in-between state until they start fully flowering and will remain pretty leafy. I’m not a big believer in the “flowering time” when growing outdoors. It’s not like an indoor grow where you can just flip the lights and know it will finish at a certain time. Depends on your location, the weather and light levels. Not like it will wait till December to finish off, it will still be ready around the same time as your other plants. But it will be more prone to mold and mildew, so make sure you’re taking proactive measures throughout the summer. At the same time, no need to get bummed or stress. They tend not to have huge colas, but will have plenty of bud sites. The larger problem IMO is during harvest when you have 2 tons of leaves, so come September don’t be shy on the early leaf trimming.
