I feel like they are never going to finish! Waiting is seriously getting to be the hardest part for me. Week 8 flower. First grow. Lots of trial and error, but im nearing the finish line...i think. The one hermied on me and I missed it and pollinated my other two in week 6, but figured I'd finish it out since it's my first time. Hopefully something good will come out of the girls because apparently it is not going to be yield. Lol

I feel your pain! Week 8 now for me, but yours look much healthier. Just keep holding out. Have you already started your flush?

No! I'm not sure I plan on flushing to be honest! I've seen 50/50 opinions on it. But I may flush one and run the other two to see if there's a difference! Are you flushing now? And what strain are you growing? Mine are bagseeds. I did the same with topping which is why I have two Christmas trees and one topped😂 I just wanted to get a feel for everything! They're starting to look real bad from the bottom up which is normal from what I've read so I'm hopeful! Can I see your grow?!

Are you noticing leaves getting almost dried out around buds? I just noticed they are a bit crispy and wandering if its light or just normal for this stage. Lol

I have a ton of problems with my grow haha. Find my threads and you'll see.

My buds are losing all fan leafs at this point and even some of the sugar leaves are starting to dry out.

My problems are from crappy soil drainage and probably root rot. I too used bagseeds and have no clue what I'm growing lol. I'm on my flush right now cause at this point I don't see them getting through more than another 2 weeks. Just keeping RH low and temps around 75-79F during lights on and 73 or lower during lights off.

I'll throw up some pics when I get home to help ya out.

Grab your phone and download a lux meter and see if you can get a general idea. Plants can handle around 50-70K lux during flower. I have mine at around 60K right now. But they are also close to the light so getting a little hot. But, it's all I can do right now. Lol

Like I said, I'm just hoping they make it to harvest. The soil was just to dense and I was being stupid and watered them for a few weeks by dunking the whole pot into a bucket of water but only 1" from the top soil (was trying to kill off mold gnats).

The trics are looking milky white all over, and brown in spots (due to the browning of the leaf too) so I'm trhinking another week before I harvest.

The sugar leafs aren't supposed to get this dried out BTW. Fan leaves should start dieing or falling off closer to the end.

Hopefully someone with more experience chimes in

Hey those buds look pretty nice! They're fatter than mine! I grow hydro so I didn't have any soil issues but you can tell where I was running into nute lockout, and other deficiencies. It was a rough first grow but hopefully will be rewarding. How are you planning to dry yours? Just flipping the plant upside down and hanging it or are you going to use one of those mesh drying racks, etc? I'm very nervous about the drying and curing the closer I get. I'm guessing I have about 3 more weeks or so on mine. I don't see any Amber trichs yet and still white pistols all over the plants popping out. But idunno man I'm just hoping to have an okay harvest that'd smokable haha. 😅

haha, we are on the same exact page!

I'm probvably going to make a few cuts (probably after each node on the main stem) and then hang them upside down in the 'V' of the node and branch. Heard this is the best way to dry as it lets grabity also work and dry better (could be wrong haha). I figure I'll have about 5 or 6 cuts per plant and then hang on a line across a dark cloest.

I personally don't have a drying rack or room, so I have no clue how they are going to turn out. But, we shall see :-)

isn't it funny looking at experienced growers and how beautiful their plants look during flower...

And then you see mine and its like . . WTF? haha As long as I can enjoy the budz I'm happy. Just not looking forward to the 2+ months of curing. I never knew how long it actually took to enjoy your own budz!!

Talk about learning patience!

It makes me want to admit defeat looking at their amazing plants. Lol. But I'm with you on as long as I get to enjoy it a bit I've learned A LOT and it's no walk in the park like a lot of people think that don't grow. learning patience is in there along with how to grow the plants. Lol. Definitely a good time though. I really want to try to grow legit seeds so I can compare but they're priceyyyyyy and I still suck at growing lol

i'm in the same boat, going down (or is it up?) that creek!

it's hard to see others doing so well with their grows, while we struggle hard.

i tend to be 'half-empty', not 'half full' type - i'm still struggling with my first indoor grow(s), where I have toiled to get towards my first harvest from my tent. i look at the current crop in my tent, and see so many deficiencies in my growing skills.

that half empty perspective is that others are doing well, while I struggle hard.

flip it over to the other perspective, the 'half-full' - at least it's not empty - view is that we're on the path toward becoming more self-sufficient, producing better quality/yield. and this path of ours is one where we gotta all walk by ourselves, with any outside guidance accepted. so, if you're gonna make any comparison, better to compare your previous efforts with current/future efforts - rather than comparing yourself to others. and if you're making improvements - not doing the same thing, expecting different results - you're heading towards the goal.

i have to talk myself to be 'half-full'.

my eyes are still crying😭🥵😫🤒

hang in there, it should get easier...maybe you're half-empty type, like me.

I know I'm disappointed too, but at least I have something at the end of the very first grow! Lol

you're 'half-full' type.
