Saw this new growth on one of my colas had very thin leaves starting out, much different than the cola next to it. I’ve also noticed the center leaf of the fan leaves is growing shorter than the rest?
Any ideas?
Is this normal weird leaf growth

Those puffy leafs are rubbing me the wrong way. I’ve see those around. After the picture in natural light, answer this next questions:
pH of water going in and pH of runoff and source of water (tap, RO).
The reason I ask is puffy leafs like that are sign of pH issues, and the next worst thing is mites. Have you scoped for mites?
Get us a whole plant pic in natural light first.

Yeah there are some issues but I believe what you are seeing is the start of flower.

Are these autos?

And I agree with all of the above pics in natural light are needed.

I had mites initially when I got the clone from a friend. Treated with Azamax, which took a toll on the plant, along with some soap spray. But haven’t seen them under the leaves at all since then.

Here are some pictures of the plant in better lighting.

I’ve got no experience with azamax. I had an infestation and eradicated it with three different preventives. So since you’ve nuked em already, what is the pH of your water? What kinda nutrients? Are you feeding already? At what ppm? pH and ppm of runoff? Environmental conditions?

growing in canna coco and perlite 70/30
pH is usually 5.8-6.0, I don’t check the runoff as I’ve heard the coco is going to naturally raise when it is dry.
PPM going is usually 600-800
I water with calmag at 5mL/gal and feed every other waterings.
Using fox farm trio, recharge, and just recently used two drops of super thrive per gallon.
Temp: 70-82
RH: 50-68
Have two fans circulating air inside a 4x4 tent

this is your problem. And in natural light I can see its not flowering
What exactly is my problem? The fact that coco naturally raises its own ph when it dries? Also I’m still vegging so I shouldn’t be expecting any flowering right now right ?

Like I said in natural light its not flowering under that blurple it was deceiving.

The problem is coco/perlite should never dry. It's not soil. It should stay over 90% saturated ideally. Not only does it cause ph issues also nutrients concentration issues.

I usually water every day to every other day, but Ill try to increase my frequency.
Also, I just did a calmag watering at 5.95 pH and tested the runoff and saw it was 5.6! I was quite surprised to see this but now I think it’s these whacky pH levels that are screwing with her...

As nutrients build up generally ph will drop. If the coco dries out to much it causes nutrients to build up. Coco perlite is a lot more like hydro than soil. Infact its nothing like soil other than looks.

Thank you. I’ll see if tapering down my PPM’s and keeping the medium constantly hydrated will solve this

So you should be watering with 1 litre of nutrient solution every feed. Of that you should get about 100-200ml of runoff if you get less you need to water more often. Always water until you get 10-20% runoff if you put the litre through and no runoff then do more until you get 10-20% and increase how often you water. In late flower this can be several times a day. That is how coco perlite should be done.

Measuring the input and out will make sure you have your watering frequency right.

Bingpot. Takes a while to dial in but that's how you do it. Mine got up to 5 times a day in flower last run keeping it between 60/70-100% saturated. That's in 1 gal mind you.
