Utilizing fungi's for soil...

id break it up into semi smaller chunks and add it to more substrate in this case your pots. if thats your goal. but im not really into teas.

Well new studies have shown that to break it up is bad and if I transplant to pots to do in a way to keep it intact and undesturbed or broken up the fungal hyphie

That sounds interesting. You ever put a mycelium cake in substrate vs breaking one up and see how fast it takes to colonize? If the goal isnt to transfer over the fungis to colonize the pot then i see no point in using it at all. honestly dont see how breaking it up or leaving it in tact has anything to do with inoculating the soil. one takes longer - one is faster. of course im speaking broadly to a fungi to which there is an endless stream. in a post with no mention of the fungi used. So i just assumed it would be Myccorhizae in which case however you use it doesnt matter. Cause the goal is to inoculate the soil. Direct inoculation, crumbled, whole, however doesnt matter when it comes to Mycco. the goal is to just get it growing in the soil. It will grow its own Hyphae in the pot. The last thing on earth id ever have concern over how to handle it properly because it could be better is a fungis. Unless i was inoculating cakes and protecting from contamination i wouldnt worry about any of that.


You do 3 plants broken,non broken, none at all. I doubt you would see a difference in the end result between em.


But sounds like you already had the answer for your question at the start if you already have a belief of the science to which is better.

That is exactly what I did today I broke off chuncks or slabs of mycrohizae . It grew in a way that I could actually grab slabs of it break into 2 square in squares in evenly spaced it in under my mulch ... Watered lightly to increase moisture to hopefully help it take off... And I did it this way because I'm not yet in flower and will be inducing soon and want the plants flowering hormones to also help with the growth of the fungus...

That thing is raging.

And just like that mushrooms.... Muahahah
