Hello everybody, been growing for a couple of years but hadn't yet come across such a frustrating situation. I have 2 strains super skunk and bubblicious . Planted bubblicious first ,about a month prior to planting the super skunk seeds, everything was going good, the plants were healthy and were even potent (smoked a couple a leaves ), my bubblicious plants started showing signs of sex earlier than the super skunk , butt all of a sudden they stopped developing pistils ,the super skunk plants already have nice healthy buds waiting to get harvested in a month max. So the bubblicious plants are now left with no visible pistils .The leaves are sticky though ,you can even see the trichs under a flashlight (but no pistils whatsoever) now I have conteplated a few possibilities as to why this is happening ,(too much nitrogen, exposure to light) I have approched the plants at night with a flashlight a number of times ,but it took 5-10 minutes(a bit more on certain special occasions.) So ,please toss me some ideas ,why is this happening ,what needs to be done ?

Usually that’s gonna be from an increase in light that sends the plant back into vegetative state.
Perhaps plant went from few hours light inside to more hours when it went outside.
Or a pretty good light source...nearby street lamp, planted next to lit window, an occasional visit with a flashlight would not trigger reveg.
Only my opinion.

Update(september 9),bubbleicious plants still not flowering: thanks a bunch for the feedback,is it possible that the strain of the flower has anything to do with this situation?,since I have a different strain that's doing just fine.also will my plants recover from this ?,we're gonna have 2 more months of sun and that's it ,maybe I should wait till the end of october idk (((

Got any pics? Hard to say for certain, but it sounds like it's just pre flowered and hasnt started budding yet. I have a strain that literally just started flowering outside a few days ago.

I have a wedding cake that just started flowering (outdoors) a few days ago, too. Same location as a Purple Punch, Platinum OG and Mac1. The others started 6 weeks ago. I should chop Wedding Cake now and put in in the compost because it isn't going to finish.

Any pics of the purple punch jerry..
I'll see about getting you a pic. It's a really nice strain. It responded beautifully to topping (I fimmed), was the first to go into flower, and when the days are really warm, it has an amazing concord grape smell.

bubbelishus is 70% indica so should not be a late flowering plant.
Can you put bubbly in a sunnier spot? Looks a bit shaded and cool but that shouldn’t be main issue.

Or girdle the stem. Make a gold strain!
