How to determine flowering time? Thrichs or seed bank

So I'm growing some critical purple from growers choice, and I'm wondering if harvesting earlier than the package says is bad?

I'm going on vacation and I'd like to chop them down before I leave to let them dry. But I'm wondering how bad that is.

The buds look gorgeous and fat but if I'm a week off from 70-80 day estimate. How bad is that? Or is it just as long as the trichs are clear?
