Hey farmers, I had this girl in a solo cup and she started drooping a little. Transplanted 3 days agoand the roots were already circling the solo cup. She’s still drooping after 3 days. Still growing just slowly. Could I pull her back out and loosen the root ball a bit? Would it help or hurt? Thanks!

This tends to happen if the soil is a little too hot nutrient wise or too compact. The roots don’t get comfortable and the plant shows early signs of stress. Many times it just takes a little while for the root system to get situated and then things start moving pretty quickly.

Just be patient, don’t overwater and don’t start dumping nutrients in there hoping that’ll solve it.

Thanks man, yeah this is that fox farm coco loco stuff and it was pretty hot. Ive been watering every 3-4 days with just some calmag and orca. I just noticed roots starting to poke through the bottom (5 gal). So hopefully the roots are starting to settle in. I hope it doesn’t cause it to hermie lol

I agree with the consensus, your plant is overwatered; recommend searching 'wet/dry watering cycle' on this site, good luck!

At this point there should be little to no chance it hermies due to stress as it’s not developed sexually yet. Once you begin flowering thats when stress usually can cause issues. Good luck!

Just wanted to update this. I believe I potted up too much and the coco loco was a little too compact. Also was too rough on lst’ing. I ended her life a few weeks after I flipped :(

The friend I put in there with her is doing ok so far. I have some browning on the tips and the older leaves are yellowing which I think is too soon, but overall she’s doing well! Any advice is welcomed
