All buds are long white pistils no calyx

Hi friends,
This is my first grow, it's from seeds that brought from Africa from a weed bag.
I noticed there is only white long pistils but no calyx or sugar leaves, is this normal?
Also I would like to know your opinions and advice please.

Looks very nice. It will fill in with swollen calyxs over the next 3-4 weeks. Looks normal.

You cant have a pair of pistils without a calyx, they are there, just not swollen yet. Looks like a very nice calyx to leaf ratio also.

They should fill out closer to harvest when most of the swelling happens. Pretty cool looking plant, thanks for sharing.

The Strain is Ethiopian highlands that a friend brought the seeds when he was there but I must say that growing a Sativa indoor is really hard as it's very tall and topping seems doesn't solve it, I have some colas growing horizontally, I will keep you posted ;)

I thought the same thing. When you cant see the calyxs through the dense bush of pistils at this age, you know its gonna get gnarly.

Beautiful plant. If that’s the land race it is from when I lived that side of the world, it will throw completely random nanners (not a crazy amount). And if it does and you get seeds, I would 100% buy or trade you for some of those.
