Those are some beautiful plants! GG is one of my all time favorites to smoke. Heard it was difficult to grow. Looks like you have them dialed in, and that light your using is a beast. I have four plants from seed at around 6 weeks veg and they are only half that size. And wow have you got gettting an even canopy down to a science. Nice. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks ReeferRon this is my first time growing either strain. They are heavy calcium feeders. What medium are you using for growing? My technique for the canopy is topping and lst. Then later in flowering I will use super cropping if needed. Do you have a diary going or a link to it?

No diary going yet. Just started back after taking a few years off. Got a new Meijui A8 650watt led to flower with. Just using a 300 watt QB to veg them. Using Pro Mix HP with about 10% perlite added, and about a cup of dolomite lime per seven gallon pot.

Growing 2 THC Bombs from Bomb seeds, and 2 Made of Honor from MendoTwenty seeds. (ALL fem seeds.) The two THC phenos are almost exactly alike and are hogs for N and the CAL. I have had to double feed both and give cal mag plus just to keep them green.

Thats those two front plants. I just topped them last night at the second node. 6 weeks veg. Like I said way behind yours. The two back plants are the MAde of Honor. Very different phenos. One lanky as all get out the other a nice little bush. I bent both those plants over a few weeks ago to try and keep the canopy even. Both plants are 6 weeks old and have yet to show pre flowers. Weird.

Cool thing is Im in no hurry, ill veg them till they fill that space up about 75% then but them over under the new light. However long that takes.

Any thoughts on why Im so far behind? Maybe not enough light? I figured 300 watts from the wall would be plenty. Also if you could please explain your method of "super cropping"? I love to learn. Thanx again.

Previously to this grow I was growing in promix using mega crop nutrients with some of the best results I have had in pro mix. What kind of nutrients are you using? I would say the main contributing factor to speed of growth is I am growing hydro and you're growing in pro-mix which just takes longer. Super cropping it may sound a little bit intimidating but it works like a charm.if you have a branch or two that's getting a little bit out of control and messing up your canopy you can super crop it.grab it with your thumb and forefinger at the spot that you would like to bend it over to squeeze it and roll it back and forth with your fingers hard you will feel the stock breaking or crushing under your fingers. Then you just lay the branch over you usually have to tie it down because it's going to want to stand back up again. Now all those Bud sites on that caller you just bent over are going to reach up and try and go to the light and you have just even out your canopy as well. I know it sounds a little scary until you've done it but it works. Here is a couple pics of a promix grow I did. First picture plant in the back right corner was over 500 grams dry The strain is King Tut the other plants are gorilla skittles.

WOW! Ive never had a plant yeild over 4-5 ounces indoors. Thats what Im going for. 4 per plant. Ive pulled it plenty of times before, just never with an LED light. This is my first grow not using HPS to flower, so Im kinda wingin it. All Ive used so far in the way of nutes is Fox Farm grow big. And Cal Mag plus. Its been years but Ive had success with FF.

Thank you so much for explaining super cropping! I know how imperitive it is to keep that canopy even, so Ill try it if need be.

Just did a fat dab, and had my rig sitting in front of me when I opened the laptop and the first picture I see is your rig...lol I may buy a rosin press after this run and press the whole crop into rosin. Last time I was growing we were still doing BHO so Im really looking forward to the rosin. (That shit is like $100 a gram here in Detroit in the shops.)

That crop was 2lbs 12 oz that averages 12 oz per plant dry. That was using a 1000 watt hps. I am new to led this is my first full grow with led.

A fellow dabber nice lol. I just started pressing my own rosin a month or so ago and it's all I've been smoking since then.

When I use pro mix HP I don't add anything but I do check the manufacturer date on the package you want to use it within a year for the manufacturing date if it was older than a year I might add some lime. The reason for that being the line being used as a buffering agent starts losing its ability to buffer the ph properly. I had problems with that my last grow because the pro mix was old now there is a way to remedy that but I won't go into that right now.
