I have noticed on some of my grows that the buds on the bottom of the plant and in the middle that have not gotten much light look like a cluster of small peas. Are these even worth using or should I toss them?

Most people just add it to their trimmings. The bottom bud's trichomes develop slower so they'll have less amber and more clear than the top ones but if you don't mind that then you're fine to do whatever you want with them. Sift for kief, make oil, just smoke it...

Why does the one on the left look trichomeless?

Looks like a cluster of balls. She reversed from stress and grew male parts.
