What is the best PH meter?

Depending on ppm it take a min to stabilize. Low ppm takes longer. I have blue lab.

We use blulabs. We have tried several inexpensive ph meters /pens. Most are very accurate, they take up to 2 minutes to stabilize. The blulab mongas and pens are very fast. Pens dont` hold up worth a crap though. Don`t hit probes with drill augers when mixing. When i firts started` was buying new ph probes every other week. Now when we mix we pull probes out,lol.

Don't know about best, but it's simple and I trust it.

My Apera has been great for the price ($49), but I will get a bluelab when it dies, so go straight to that if you want the best quality. Be sure to use storage solution! Also, as a long time aquarium owner, if you want the BEST test kit, go with the Sera brand...I can't even describe how much better and more accurate it is than the common PH test kits. I like keeping one around as a backup.

Yup I used Milwaukee in the past but the leave in probes. Not sure if they sell the pens.

Basically the only ones that work are these and $150+ ones.
So the $130 difference in price is the ability to see 2 decimal places instead of 1.

Kinda embarrassed but I'l say it anyway lol. I just calibrated my ph pen. It was way off. I should have calibrated when I got it but I assumed it was ready to use. Never assume lol. I'll see how long it's good for now lol.
Pays to calibrate them right away

My hydro lemon meringue ph was at 5.3 after I calibrated so I tossed a couple cups of water in to bring ph back up a touch

have a cheap $12 eBay one and a better one I got for 20 bucks on Facebook sales lol

but it’s good to calibrate them once a week if you use them a lot everything in the pic was $20 lol it’s a good meter as well just had to out new battery in it

I hate anything made by that company I went through 4 of their shitty fans in one month 2
Fans blew up other 2
Died,I wouldn’t piss on that company if it was on fire,customer support is bollocks as well
