What kind of light and how far away? What medium? What RH?
I personally use T5’s on seedlings. And run a 19 hr in veg but each strain varies. Start high and slowly drop light hrs till you see growth. Keep in mind closer to 12 hr light will result in flowering so stay on high end in veg

Use the same schedule as you will for your veg stage. 18/6, etc. Just dim it if you can or keep it further away than you would for older plants. New seedling don't require the intensity that larger plants do and are easier to burn. As they grow, increase brightness or move the light closer. If the light feels hot to your skin, it will likely be too hot for the seedlings also.
