It’s an invasive species from China. They get into everything. They hibernate in the winter in boxes, under, and behind everything in my garage in the winter. I don’t know what they eat but I have never seen them damage plants.

It doesn’t quite look to me like the stink bugs I normally see very similar though so I could be wrong. Stink bugs do eat plants and fruits that I know so they could def be there trying to feed. Already battling Japanese beetles don’t need another invasive asshole lol

The brown marmorated stink bug is an insect in the family Pentatomidae, native to China, Japan, Korea and other Asian regions. In September 1998 it was collected in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where it is believed to have been accidentally introduced.

It's this thing.

I have had probably a thousand of those fuckers on the side of my house in the fall. That’s when they breed I think. They came in to our area about 10 years ago. They are not as bad when they first migrated in. I have never had an issue with them on plants in the yard, or garden.

One got in my tent once. I think he tried the plant. But didn't like it enough to eat more. Looks like fine white threads with the green parts eaten. Little squares of it.
