If they are big it may be too late, doesnā€™t take much to kill small ones. Are you finding dead ones? You can apply as often as you want but if they are big or the bottle has been improperly stored it wonā€™t help.
Excuse my dirty fingers but this is the size of the average one on my plants, only found a few decent sized ones.

Hey guys, got another question about BT Monterey, how often can I apply it to my plants? I've read applying it between 5 to 7 day intervals but I'm retarded and don't understand if that means spray it everyday for 5 to 7 days or if it means to spray them once every 5 to 7 days?
Honestly Bt isnā€™t very effective once you start seeing worms. Preflower theyā€™re silk together the growing tips and hide out where the spray wonā€™t penetrate. Then as the plant starts flowering theyā€™ll move towards the center of the (tallest thickest) buds and once again hide out safe from the spray as they chomp away, shitting up a storm until one day youā€™ll see a little yellow sugar leaf on a bud and when you give it a little tug, the entire bud will disintegrate. (Itā€™s amazing how perfect the bud will look, only be be all rotten up against the stem.) So you really need to start spraying in May/June, (about every 3 weeks) to knock down the population before they have a chance to get established.

I have a ton of Skipper butterflies that will start appearing in June and come in waves. Iā€™ll see dozens flittering around and mating, theyā€™ll disappear for awhile, and then in a few weeks thereā€™ll be another wave, which repeats all summer. I actually donā€™t think theyā€™re the source of the bud worms, but the Bt will seriously knock down their population. So by this time of the year Iā€™ll only see a couple, where as if Iā€™m not spraying each cycle will be thick. (And I know itā€™s not just environmental as Iā€™ll see other grows within a mile of mine, and the bud worms will be all over the plants.)

Since you know that worms are a problem in your area, plan ahead and start spraying early in the season.

Man wish they actually told you this lmao. I've never used this product before so this is my first time using it. I'll continue spraying since the caterpillars are still small while also going through each buds getting them out. I can clean their shit off with some water and some loving like I did last year so I'm not worried about that and I also take off parts of the buds that they ate which I also don't mind since it's getting rid of them. It's just crazy, I've never had this caterpillars ever till like 2 years ago. I've been trying to look for what's laying their eggs cause I can't get a positive ID on them with a picture but this year I have assassin bugs all over my plants and I've left their eggs alone and some have started hatching and I've seen some eating the caterpillars like I've read they do so that's nice.

There's only 3 plants that are infected but I will spray others just in case. I guess I'm going to have to figure out other ways that I can get rid of these little shits that I can afford lmfao. But thanks mancorn! I appreciate the info and I'll definitely do it early in the season next year.

Look into planting fennel bulbs. I think parsley when left to flower will attract a certain predator wasp that prays on caterpillars. Start those early and keep them going to start the circle of life

Pay no attention to the fake flower, LOL my Other half tied it to her back in veg she thought it looked nice. I didn't want to mess the flower up so i left it on. But Im anxious to chop her down. My other 3 still have 4 to 6 weeks left this one for some reason has flowered much earlier. It smells amazing the trichome heads are milky and with some amber. I just don't want to jump the gun and take her down to early. She's got some serious N problems and is not doing well. Every day i want to chop her but end up waiting. Anyone have any opinions on her. I wish i had a better camera.

A week or so later and still can't solve the mystery spots that turn to holes on some of my leaves.

Just started Dr.Zymes Eliminator (pics actually taken right after spraying).

Leaf septoria? I have not found an infestation of any type of pests, I actually find ladybugs pretty regularly.

Flowering seems to be going great and the spots are lower 3rd of plant or spots where fan leaves have stacked.

Anyone conquered this before?

So yesterday I picked off 4 caterpillars from both plants. I noticed my neighbors tomato and roses are getting eaten to shreds. This morning around 3am, I hopped over the wall and did a covert mission, sprayed neem oil all over their plants that touch the wall between houses. If their bug problems continue then a night time Monterey BT or IPM raid is next lol.
Here's a top I had to lop off this morning. Also did a bit of defoliation to see better along the flowers, any fan leaves that wasn't attached to a flower or had sugar was pruned.
Caterpillar food.
