this is my 1st grow all help needed and tips please....
i have transplanted one time to these bigger pots, used blackgold soil and MG peat moss canadian. i water them about every 2 or 3 das when soil is dry right. I have liked to do organics materials so i blended up some green veggies and fruits, mixed it in with some h20 let that sit for 24hrs then feed it 2 each plant. I am on low budget so dont have the nutrient veg bloom mix yet. i am saving up for a 600wt hps i want to just buy the bulb and hang it vertically in the middle of the ladies will that work right no ballast needed????

im pretty damn sure you need a ballast im in the market for a 1000 watt lamp your shit looks pretty damn good for all a stragley CFL grow hahah.. how long have these girls been growing under these cfls?

only enviro bulbs are self ballest buddie i think they go up to 250w both red and blue bulbs

if your on a budget... do what justbud said get enviro bulbs

Your better off with a HPS thought because of the intensity of the light

i think he confused ballast and hood, and yes, so long as airflow is right you can run vertical with no hood. The ballast and bulb are what you have to buy, and the socket assembly for the bulb

Your plants look decent for the setup that you have. I would def. leave these girls in veg until you get a HID light. Some of the more economical ones have built in ballasts with hoods. Like Michael said you can usually find a deal on ebay, but craigslist is also a good place to find used growing equipment. Looking at your setup I would say you have to much of an area for a single 600W vertical grow. If you want to run a single 600 I would recommend doing some research on a SCROG. Hope this helps.

Look on craigslist for High Bay lights..I just baught 2 1000MH for 25 bux each..and gonna make remote ballasts and go vertical:rauch08: if ya need help just give a shout..Plants look great and no need for nutes for atleast 3 months with MG..as for low budget..get ya self some coffee grinds and egg shells..Makes a great organic tea..and can be found free at coffee houses and McDonalds..the when ya flower get a bag of bat poo..Plants look nice my friend..take care and be safe

wait, so you grind up some fruit and veggetables to use as nutrient? Does that work?
