I have it at 24 inches. The burns are progressing more
That’s not light burn. 2 feet won’t fry plants. Looks like more of a mag problem not cal-mag. What’s your pH in and pH out?

2-2.5ml cal mag
8ml micro
16ml bloom
Then I ph to 5.8-6
And i feed until runoff
I’ve been feeding every day sometimes I’ll forget to feed a day and it turns into every other day of feeding. But that’s only when I’m sleepy
Need a routine. Improper watering routine leads to lock out in coco. ComfortablyNumb hit the nail right on the head with their response.

So maybe I’m locked out? I’ve been feeding that all veg and it never happened so I’m trying to think what to changed for this Occur. I could flush instead of feed today and feed with nutes tomorrow 8ml micro 16ml bloom 2ml cal mag

I wouldn’t flush anything. Your next feed id water until about 25% runoff at 1/2 the strength. Contain the runoff and test the pH and Ec. That’ll give you an idea of what’s going on. Then you can report back to us.

You got it! Thank you for the help!

But you also should raise temps and listen to other farmers as well, not just my advice.. I just doubt it’s light burn @ 24inches. Plus if you look at some of your other foliage, leaf’s are starting to turn green yellow ish.

How much and what do you feed?

Basic Watering

Watering COCO
I just got a Apera EC20 pen thinking it was a PpM pen because I wanted to replace my shitty Vivosun ppm meter and I seen you can do conversions with the EC . But the pen is reading my RO water at a high number that’s not even on the conversion chart. So could my problems I’m having just be my ro water not being filtered

It could be. 70 is fairly low. Go to your local water department online and download the water quality report for your area and post it. Lets see what;s happening.

70 us? I tried converting that to ppm are using ms. Just typing this I messed with the pen and changed the unit to ms and my ec is 0.07 which is like bearly any ppm. So my water is definitely filtered. I was feeding half nutes for the passed 2 days. I’m going to feed regular strength and post the ppm after I convert it

Okay so I guess I see the problem but I don’t know the fix. This is the EC of all my run off from my plants
The water I fed with nutrients measured an EC of 2.14ms.

4.50ms plant 1

10.00ms plant 2

7.80ms plant 3

6.45ms plant 4

@Dirtbag, @Frankster
Let me get a Hydro grower in here for you. I do organics and your getting out of my area.

there are two models of this on amazon, a TDS and a Salinity. Which one did you get cuz the TDS is in PPM setting?

Temperature is too low. And Lucas is not the greatest formula imho. You're having calcium uptake problems from the low temps causing limited transpiration. Calcium uptake is entirely determined by, and reliant upon the rate of transpiration and water moving through the plant. Get the temperature up to 78-81 or so and new growth should recover. But I'd strongly advise using the 3rd bottle of grow nutrients too.

Also, ppm are too high. Are you using Co2?

I'd back off on food and lights, water more often and get that temperature up higher.

i got the temps up. I don’t use co2. Yeah I don’t know why the ppm is high on the run off I used RO water with it and the ppm wasn’t too bad
When you say back off food and light do I just feed plain ro water phd? And turn the light percentage down? I just flipped to flower a few days ago since if I veg any longer the won’t have enough roof space . ☹️☹️

No no, use nutrients but try to feed closer to 1.3-1.5 ec until they recover. That's like 650-750ppm. And yeah, not sure what lights you have but I'd reduce the light intensity a bit for a few days until you start seeing healthy new growth emerge. Not a big reduction, 15-20% or so just for a few days.

Numb called it with the nutes and the calmag. Your tips are burned and curling., chlorophyll break up in the leaves and the yellowing new growth.

Go with Dirt bag and comfortably numbs advice. Bump you ec or ppm up once your flowering. I keep mine right around 500-700 ppm in veg.

View attachment 1197172 I would not trust those meters. I Just got that very set as a backup set. The PH meter reads low by two full points after calibration and more over you have to use create that 3 part solution for calibration vs just using a 7.0 ref solution. You need to call them fairly regularly, any PH meter. The TDS meter is closer but also reads a little high.
