Pointed heater at small veg plants, trying to revive them need help asap

I was moving my veg tent into another location and put everything back in place. I have a humidifier and a little heater inside of the veg tent so i can raise the temperature and provide higher humidity levels. I accidentally had the heater pointing at my plants for at least a couple hours, and i came back and saw that I fried several of my plants. Couple of them were completely fried so I got rid of them, and some are hanging by a thread that I would really prefer to save them in any way possible.

The heater blew towards the bottom and fried the bottom of the plants nodes and leaves so I removed them, and the stem has turned white and dead looking. It was ok for the first few days but now this plant has started to wilt and yellow as the days progress...

Is there anything I can do to save them?

If you see the stem, part of it is white but the upper part is still normal color. Do you think I could cut the stem towards the top and attempt to clone it? Or should I just let it ride as is and see if it will survive somehow?

Cut off the damage. I know the light was uninvolved with the mishap but if it’s set at a higher intensity reducing it will help lower plant stress too. Give ‘em a few days and see if they start responding or continue to deteriorate. Then decide to toss or not.

An oil filled type heater would help prevent those kind of accidents in the future.

It's looking like no water is getting past that dry part of the stalk. I've never seen anything like this, but I have a bad feeling.

Do you think cutting the plant and attempting to "clone" it could save the plant? Thats what I was thinking as well. The dead stem part isn't transporting nutrients to the rest of the plant. But if i cut it above the white part of the stem and try to clone it, maybe it will grow roots and live again?

Yep, think he burnt the straw right up. I’d get as much stress off it as I could but it’s most likely headed for the trash.

Might be worth trying to take a cutting or two.

Cut it above the dead part of the stem and put it in a glass of water, and see if the growing points perk up.

They are officially rooting now. Crossing my fingers they take! I'm pretty good at cloning so I'm hoping this works.

Wow the plant has perked back up after i rooted it! Looking good so far! I think this is going to work.
