I have cleaned up the bottoms and removed the fan leaves from the top. The air flow is plenty and at 30 days they look good to me. Would you take more leaves out of the middle area now or wait for another couple of weeks? (Yes, there are four of them in two gallon pots in a little 2x2 tent.)
